Step 1 Software Installation: XYZprint R2 Beta 2.0.23

Your printer is offline. What now? Make sure your printer is powered on and connected to a computer.
Why is my printer offline?
Step 2 Upgrade Firmware
Launch the software and upgrade the firmware to version 3.5.1.
After the update is completed, the printer will automatically reboot.
*Update time is about 5~10 minutes, please wait patiently.

To ensure the smooth operation of the printer, the printer system could be updated now.
Step 3 Filament Chip Confirm
Click "Filament" in the Dashboard and confirm the printer serial number is complete (18 digits).
If the status is as shown in Figure 1, proceed to Step 4 for the serial number upgrade tool.
If the status is shown in Figure 2, it is done, and you can start using 3rd party filament.

Step 4 COM Port Confirmed
After connecting the computer to the printer, check the device manager to confirm the COM port.

Step 5 Execute Access Port Program
Launch Access Port (AccessPort.exe) and input the command: "DJRSSN_#####_19725235_70183947@" (where #### is the 18-digit serial number).

Access Port instruction: Please confirm that no other program is using the printer's COM port first. Close that program if it is.
1. Execute Access Port, Choose "Setup" as ⚙️ [Setup] icon.

Step 6 Launch Access Port Program
2. Choose the COM port (the XYZ Printer COM port) and click OK after setting.

Step 7 Command Execution
3. Check that the COM port connection is completed and shows 'Opened'. Then, you can start sending the command "DJRSSN_#####_19725235_70183947@" (where #### is the 18-digit serial number) and press [Send Data].

Step 8 Confirm Command Execution Reply Result
4. After sending the data, confirm the reply status.

Step 9 Filament Status Confirm
Click "Filament" and confirm that the status is "Open Smart Tag".
