Jensen CAR1013 Quick Start Guide

This guide provides basic instructions for using your Jensen CAR1013 Media Receiver with its 10.1" digital TFT Display, featuring Android Auto™ and CarPlay™.

Control Locations

Screen Adjustments: Adjust screen settings.
Main Menu: Access various functions via icons.
Tuner Operation: Tune radio stations, adjust volume, and control settings.
Audio Operation: Adjust balance, fader, EQ presets, and 10-band EQ.
Screen Operation: Adjust brightness, contrast, button illumination, and wallpaper.
General Operation: Set time zone, date, time, daylight saving, beep tone, and power off delay.
Wiring Diagram - Inputs/Outputs: Details connections for power, speakers, cameras, and audio/video inputs/outputs.

Key Features & Operations

USB Operation

From the main menu, touch the USB icon. Use controls to play/pause, skip tracks, and manage music playback. Displays track information and album art.

Bluetooth Operation

Pairing a New Device: The unit broadcasts a pairing signal. Follow your device's manual to pair. The device name is "CAR1013". The unit can auto-connect to the last paired device.

Bluetooth Phone: Make hands-free calls by dialing numbers or accessing contacts. Transfer audio between the head unit and phone.

Streaming Audio: Play music from your connected Bluetooth device.

CarPlay & Android Auto Operation

Wired Connection: Connect a compatible device via USB and select the CarPlay or Android Auto icon.

Wireless Connection: Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your phone. Pair your device through the unit's interface by searching, pairing, and confirming connection prompts on both the unit and your phone.

Rear Camera

If no signal is detected, check cable connections and ensure the camera is powered.

Limited Three Year Warranty

Jensen warrants this product to the original purchaser for three years from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. This warranty covers product defects but excludes software, installation/removal costs, and damage from misuse, accident, or unauthorized repair. For service, pack the product securely with a copy of the original receipt and a description of the problem.
