Wiring Diagram - Inputs/Outputs
Note: Works for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto only.
The unit features various input and output connectors:
- GPS ANT: GPS Antenna input.
- WiFi: WiFi connectivity.
- M.O.P.S: (Likely related to microphone or other input).
- 15A Fuse: 15 AMP ATC replacement fuse located on the power connector.
- Front Left Preamp Output: White connector.
- Front Right Preamp Output: Red connector.
- Left Audio Input: White connector.
- External MIC Input: White connector.
- Front Camera Input: Yellow connector.
- Rear Camera Input: Yellow connector.
- Playback/Charging: USB connection for compatible devices.
- Apple CarPlay / Android Auto: USB connection for smartphone integration.
- Radio Antenna: Standard antenna input.
- Video Input: Yellow connector.
- Right Audio Input: Red connector.
- SUB-OUT2: Blue connector.
- Rear Right Preamp Output: Red connector.
- SUB-OUT1: Blue connector.
- Rear Left Preamp Output: White connector.
Wiring Harness Connections:
- LEFT FRONT(+/-): White/Black wires.
- RIGHT FRONT(+/-): Gray/Gray-Black wires.
- LEFT REAR(+/-): Green/Green-Black wires.
- RIGHT REAR(+/-): Violet/Violet-Black wires.
- IGNITION/12V(+): Red wire.
- CHASSIS GROUND(-): Black wire.
- BATTERY 12V(+): Yellow wire.
- ILLUMINATION(+): Orange wire.
- REVERSE(+): Violet/White wire.
- POWER ANTENNA(+): Blue wire.
- PARKING BRAKE(-): Green/Red wire.
- REMOTE TURN-ON(+): Blue/White wire.
- SWC IN: Gray (Red Cap) wire.
Fuse Note: Always use a 15 amp ATC mini style fuse when replacing. Using an incorrect fuse can cause damage.
Control Locations
The radio display features the following functions and displays:
- 1 Control Knob: Short press to mute/unmute; Long press to power off; Rotate to adjust volume.
- 2 Reset: Resets the unit.
- 3 Previous / Search Back: Navigates to the previous track or searches backward.
- 4 Next / Search Forward: Navigates to the next track or searches forward.
- 5 CPAA Voice Button: Activates voice assistant (e.g., Google Assistant, Siri).
- 6 Source / Home: Switches between sources or returns to the home screen.
The main screen displays time, audio information, and various icons.
Main Menu
From the main menu, press the desired icon to enter the corresponding mode:
- Apple CarPlay
- Android Auto
- BT Audio (Bluetooth Audio)
- Radio
- USB
- BT Phone (Bluetooth Phone)
- AV IN (Audio/Video Input)
- Cameras
- Settings
Tuner Operation
Controls for radio tuning:
- 1 Main Menu: Returns to the main menu.
- 2 Dimmer: Adjusts display brightness.
- 3 Local/Distance: Selects local or distant radio stations.
- 4 Seek Tune Up: Scans for the next station.
- 5 Seek Tune Down: Scans for the previous station.
- 6 Preset Stations: Accesses saved radio stations.
- 7 EQ: Equalizer settings.
- 8 Settings: Accesses the main settings menu.
The display shows the current frequency (e.g., 98.1 MHz) and band (AM/FM).
USB Operation
From the main menu, touch the USB icon to access USB content. The screen displays:
- Main Menu: Returns to the main menu.
- Current Mode Indicator: Shows the current playback mode.
- Repeat: Controls repeat playback (Repeat All, Repeat One).
- Random: Controls random playback (Random Off, Random On).
- List: Displays the list of available tracks.
- ID3 Tag Display Area: Shows song title, artist, and album.
- Track Down: Skips to the previous track.
- Play/Pause: Controls playback.
- Track Up: Skips to the next track.
- Album Art: Displays album artwork if available.
Audio Operation
Press the AUDIO icon from the main menu to access audio settings:
- Balance/Fader: Adjusts audio balance between left/right speakers and front/rear speakers.
- Subwoofer: Controls subwoofer settings (On/Off, Frequency, Level).
- EQ: Equalizer settings with adjustable frequency bands (e.g., 32Hz, 63Hz, 125Hz, etc.).
- Reset: Resets audio settings to default.
Screen Operation
Access display settings via the Display icon in the Settings menu:
- Illumination Control: Turns illumination on/off.
- Screen: Adjusts Brightness and Contrast.
- Gray Level Day/Night: Adjusts brightness for day and night modes.
- Day/Night Brightness: Specific brightness settings for day and night.
- Button Light: Controls button illumination color and brightness.
- Ambient Light: Controls ambient lighting color and brightness.
- Button Light Animation: Sets animation for button lighting.
- Ambient Light Animation: Sets animation for ambient lighting.
The outer screen features color-changing illumination for customization.
General Operation
Access general settings via the General icon in the Settings menu:
- Language: Selects the display language.
- Time Zone: Sets the time zone.
- Date & Time: Manually sets the date and time.
- Time Sync: Synchronizes time with connected device or GPS.
- Daylight Saving Time: Enables/disables daylight saving.
- Beep Tone: Controls audible feedback for button presses.
- Power Off Delay: Sets a delay for power off.
- Factory Reset: Resets all settings to factory defaults.
- Right Hand Drive: Configuration for right-hand drive vehicles.
Adjusting Front and Rear Camera Screen Image
If your front or rear cameras display a reversed image, use the Camera section in Settings:
- Rear Camera View Reverse: Toggle to reverse the rear camera image.
- Front Camera View Reverse: Toggle to reverse the front camera image.
- Parking Assist Guide: Enables/disables parking assist lines.
Wired & Wireless Apple CarPlay Operation
Wired Connection:
- Connect an Apple CarPlay compatible device via USB.
- Press the Apple CarPlay icon on the main menu. The Apple CarPlay home screen will appear.
Wireless Connection:
- Ensure Bluetooth/WiFi is enabled on your phone.
- Press the Bluetooth icon on the main menu.
- Press the confirmation icon ✔️ to use wireless Apple CarPlay.
- Press the search icon ? to find your phone device; available devices will be listed.
- Select your desired device and press "Pair".
- A pass key will be displayed; ensure it matches on your iPhone. Press "Pair" and then "Allow" for popups.
- Press the confirmation icon ✔️ on the screen to connect.
- On your iPhone, select "Use CarPlay". The unit will configure and start the application.
Wired & Wireless Android Auto™ Operation
Wired Connection:
- Connect an Android Auto compatible device via USB.
- Press the Android Auto icon on the main menu. The Android Auto home screen will appear.
Wireless Connection:
- Ensure Bluetooth/WiFi is enabled on your Android device.
- Press the Bluetooth icon on the main menu.
- Press the confirmation icon ✔️ to use wireless Android Auto.
- Press the search icon ? to find your phone device; available devices will be listed.
- Select your desired device and press "Pair".
- A pass key will be displayed; ensure it matches on your Android device. Press "Pair" and then "Allow" for popups.
- Press the confirmation icon ✔️ on the screen to connect.
- The unit will configure and start the application.
Bluetooth Operation
Before Using Bluetooth:
Bluetooth devices must be authenticated (paired) before use for hands-free calls or audio streaming.
Pairing a New Device:
The unit broadcasts a pairing signal when no devices are connected. Complete the pairing sequence from your Bluetooth device. The device name is "CAR12TC". Pairing may require multiple attempts on some phones.
Connecting:
The head unit automatically connects to the last connected device if "Auto Connect On" is selected. If "Auto Connect Off" is selected, it will not connect automatically.
Bluetooth Phone:
From the main menu, touch the Bluetooth icon. A Bluetooth icon will appear when a device is connected.
Dialing a Number:
Press the keypad icon ? to display the keypad and dial a number.
Making and Ending a Call:
Press the call icon ? to connect a call, and press the end call icon ☎️ to end a call.
Transferring Audio:
Press the transfer icon ? to transfer audio between the head unit and mobile phone.
Streaming Audio:
Press the play/pause icon ▶️⏸️ to play or pause music.
Press the previous track icon ◀️ to skip to the previous track.
Press the next track icon ▶️ to advance to the next track.
Limited Three Year* Warranty
This warranty grants specific legal rights, which may vary by state. Jensen warrants this product to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship for three years from the original purchase date. Jensen will, at its option, repair or replace defective products with new, renewed, or comparable products. This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship but excludes software, installation costs, damage from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, modification, improper installation, incorrect voltage, unauthorized repair, or damage during return shipment. Software license conditions are available at www.jensenmobile.com.
Warranty Coverage: Limited 3-year warranty (proof of purchase required). Extend to 5 years by registering online at www.jensenmobile.com.
What to do?
- Check the troubleshooting guide in your owner's manual first.
- If service is required, pack the product carefully (preferably in original packaging) and ship via prepaid transportation with a copy of the original receipt to an authorized service center.
- Include a written description of the problem, your name, return UPS shipping address (P.O. Box not accepted), and daytime phone number.

Exclusion of Certain Damages: This warranty is exclusive and replaces all other warranties, express or implied. Jensen is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) it must not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Installation Guide
Preparing for Installation
Package Contents:
- 1. Main Unit
- 2. Mounting Sleeve for 1 DIN
- 3. Release Keys
- 4. Screw Kit (Includes Mounting Screws for 2DIN Bracket M2.5*4, Flat Head Screws M5*6, Round Head Screws M5*6)
- 5. Chassis sleeve for 2 DIN install
- 6. Trim Ring
- 7. Wiring Harness
- 8. Microphone
- 9. GPS Antenna (for CarPlay and Android Auto only)
Installation Steps:
Before You Begin:
- Consult a qualified technician for instructions. Professional installation is recommended.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Remove the trim ring from the unit (if installed).
- Insert the release keys and remove the mounting sleeve from the receiver.
Note: Most vehicles require an installation kit, wiring harness, and/or antenna adapter (sold separately) for proper installation.
Step #1: Install Mounting Sleeve and Trim Ring
- Install the mounting sleeve into a dash kit or dash opening, bending the tabs to secure it.
- Connect the wiring harness, microphone, and antenna to the chassis of the radio.
- Snap the trim ring into place, ensuring the notched area is at the bottom.
- Slide the receiver into the mounting sleeve to secure it.
Step #2: Connecting the LCD to the Chassis
Carefully push the LCD connector into the receiver's chassis until you hear a click.
Step #3: Removing the LCD from the Chassis
- Hold down the two release buttons.
- Gently pull the display panel forward.
Installing the 2-DIN Chassis Sleeve
Attach the 2-DIN chassis sleeve using four M2.5*4 screws. The sleeve can be installed on the top (A) or bottom (B) of the chassis.
Install Mounting Side Brackets
Note: Mounting brackets and optional vehicle mounting kits are not included.
Install the mounting brackets to the chassis of the radio or to the 2-DIN chassis sleeve, depending on the chosen mounting option as shown in Step #1.
Installation Complete
The unit is now installed.
