SNIGLAR Bed Frame Assembly Instructions

Safety and Preparation

Assembly of the SNIGLAR bed frame requires two people. Ensure you use manual tools such as screwdrivers (Phillips and flathead) and avoid using power tools. Do not stand on the parts during assembly. If you encounter any issues or have questions, please contact IKEA for assistance.

Dowels: 119045 (4x), 130730 (4x), 121115 (4x)
Cam Lock System: 110459 (Cam Lock Screw, 4x), 119046 (Cam Lock Nut, 4x)
Fittings: 118860 (Plastic Fitting, 2x)
Pins/Rods: 191315 (Metal Pin, 1x), 121116 (Metal Pin, 1x)
Central Support Tube: 130730 (1x)
Allen Keys: 100001 (1x), 100002 (1x)

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Assemble Frame Side

Attach one side rail to the headboard and footboard. Insert 4x wooden dowels (121115) into the headboard/footboard. Align the side rail and secure it using 4x screws (105236).

Step 2: Attach Slatted Base Supports

Insert 4x cam lock screws (110459) into the pre-drilled holes on the inside of the attached side rail. Insert 4x cam lock nuts (119046) into the corresponding holes on the slatted bed base supports.

Step 3: Install Central Support Tube

Insert 2x plastic fittings (118860) into the designated holes on the inside of the side rails. Insert the central support tube (130730) into these fittings. Secure the tube to the side rails using 2x cam lock screws (110459) and 2x cam lock nuts (119046).

Step 4: Attach Second Side Rail

Attach the second side rail to the headboard and footboard. Insert 4x wooden dowels (121115) into the headboard/footboard. Align the second side rail and secure it using 4x screws (105236).

Step 5: Secure Headboard/Footboard Crossbars

Insert 1x metal pin (121116) and 1x screw (108445) into the headboard/footboard to secure the crossbars.

Step 6: Attach Central Support Rod

Attach the central support rod (130730) to the side rail. Use 1x screw (119045) and 1x cam lock nut (119046) for this connection.

Step 7: Finalize Slatted Base Supports

Attach any remaining slatted bed base supports. Use 1x screw (119045) and 1x cam lock nut (119046) for this connection.

Step 8: Secure Remaining Crossbars

Secure any remaining crossbars to the headboard/footboard. Use 1x metal pin (121116) and 1x screw (108445).

Step 9: Final Frame Assembly

Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the cam lock system. Insert 4x cam lock screws (110459) and secure with 4x metal pins (191315).

Step 10: Place Slatted Bed Base

Place the LURÖY slatted bed base onto the assembled SNIGLAR bed frame.
