SNIGLAR Bed Frame Assembly Instructions
General Information & Safety
This document provides instructions for assembling the IKEA SNIGLAR bed frame.
Before you begin:
- Ensure all parts are present and undamaged.
- Assembly is recommended by two people. ??
- Protect your floor during assembly by using the packaging material or a blanket.
- Do not overtighten screws or force parts together.

Assembly Steps
Step 1
Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard. Insert bolts (105236) into the pre-drilled holes on the side rails. Place cam locks (115899) into the larger holes on the headboard/footboard and tighten them with a flathead screwdriver [screwdriver] to secure the bolts. Ensure the arrow on the cam lock points towards the bolt head.
Step 2
Attach the center support rail to the side rails. Use screws (100001, 105236) and the cam lock system (121115, 114476) to connect the center support to the side rails.
Step 3
Attach the guard rail supports to the headboard. Insert dowels (118860) into the designated holes on the headboard. Align the guard rail supports with the dowels and secure them using screws (119045, 119046) and tubes (130730, 121115).
Step 4
Attach the guard rail supports to the footboard. Use screws (119045, 119046) and tubes (121115) to connect the guard rail supports to the footboard.
Step 5
Secure the remaining guard rail supports to the frame. Use screws (100001, 100002, 119045, 119046) and tubes (121115) to attach these supports to the side rails.
Step 6
Attach the final guard rail supports. Use screws (119045, 119046) and tubes (121115) to secure these supports to the frame.
Step 7
Install the guard rail by aligning it with the attached supports. Secure the guard rail using dowels (118860), screws (119045, 119046), and tubes (130730, 121115).
Step 8
Secure the center support. Use screw (108445) to fasten the center support to the frame.
Step 9
Attach the corner brackets. Mount the brackets (191315) to the inside corners of the bed frame using bolts (110459).
Step 10
Place the LURÖY slatted bed base onto the frame. Ensure the slats are evenly distributed and the base sits correctly on the frame supports.
