Installation and Setup

1. Download the iSCS Sentinel App: Search for "iSCS Sentinel" on the App Store or Google Play Store and install it.

2. Create an Account: Open the app, click on "Create My Account", and follow the on-screen instructions to register your account.

3. Add Your Camera:

• Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
• In the app, tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
• Follow the app's instructions to scan the QR code of your product or enter it manually.
• Present the QR code generated by the app to the camera at a distance of 15-20 cm.
• Once the camera emits a sound, confirm in the app by tapping "Yes" to the prompt "Did you hear the camera's sound?".
• Name your camera and assign it to a room.

4. Mounting the Camera:

• Test the camera's functionality and Wi-Fi range at the desired location.
• Fix the camera securely to the wall using appropriate screws and wall plugs. The provided hardware is suitable for solid walls.
• Ensure the power adapter is plugged into an indoor power outlet.

5. Inserting a Micro SD Card:

• A micro SD card (4GB to 256GB) can be inserted to store video footage locally.
• Accessing video history requires a micro SD card.
• Insert the micro SD card into the designated slot and restart the camera.

Using the iSCS Sentinel App

Navigating Settings: Tap the settings icon to access various configurations, including profile management, house settings, notification preferences, and app information.

Managing Houses: You can add, modify, or delete houses within the app to organize your devices.

Notification Settings: Customize notification preferences to receive alerts for specific events.

Live View and Control:

• View the live feed from your camera.
• Activate audio listening and speaking functions.
• Capture photos or videos directly from the app.
• Use the on-screen joystick to pan and tilt the camera.

Viewing Recordings: Access recorded footage by date and time. You can save videos or photos to your phone.

SD Card Settings:

• Configure recording modes: continuous recording or alarm-triggered recording.
• Schedule recording periods for the SD card.
• Format the SD card if necessary.

Scenarios: Create custom scenarios to automate actions based on triggers like time or motion detection. For example, activate motion detection on weekdays at 8 AM for 15 minutes.

Adding Guests: Invite other users to access your camera, with limited control over device settings.

Troubleshooting

• Camera not found: Verify power connection, Wi-Fi connection, correct Wi-Fi password (no special characters), sufficient internet speed, and that your smartphone is on the same network as the camera. Ensure the network is 2.4 GHz, not 5 GHz. Try pairing closer to the Wi-Fi router.
• Camera not returning to initial position: Disable and re-enable motion tracking.
• Connection failure: Double-check the 5 points listed in the manual (power, Wi-Fi connection, password, LED status, router proximity). If issues persist, try the "AP pairing" method.
