Warranty

• This fitting is covered by a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase.
• Warranty is void if the fitting is not installed by a licensed electrician.
• Retain proof of purchase and installation evidence for warranty claims.
• This light fitting is not suitable for use with dimmer switches; warranty will be void if used on a circuit with a dimmer.
• Warranty is void if there is any damage due to improper usage or modification.
• Failure to comply with instructions may increase risk of damage or injury and will void warranty.

Installation Requirements

• Must be installed by a licensed electrician.
• All wiring and installation must adhere to local and national wiring rules (e.g., AS/NZS 3000:2007/Amendment 2:2012).
• Location Selection:
• Suitable for indoor use only.
• Mounting point must support 2 times the fitting's weight.
• Do not install next to any air vent system.
• For areas prone to moisture, ensure good ventilation and use an appropriately rated exhaust fan if needed. Damage or corrosion from moisture is not covered under warranty.
• Handle electrical wires carefully during unpacking to avoid damaging connections.
• Lay out all components on a smooth surface and check for missing parts before assembly. Return to place of purchase if parts are missing.
• Inspect the fitting for any transport damage. Do not install if damaged; return for inspection, repair, or replacement.
• Ensure power to the circuit is switched OFF before commencing any electrical work.

Installation Directions

1. Remove all packaging material, being careful not to discard hidden accessories.
2. Remove the shade (C) from the fitting by pulling the plastic hook (A). See Figure 1.
3. Use the lamp base (B) as a template to mark screw positions on the ceiling.
4. Install the fitting onto the ceiling using appropriately sized mounting screws (H) and anchors (G). Ensure they are suitable for the mounting surface. See Figure 2.
5. Remove the terminal block cover (E) by loosening screw (D). Connect mains supply wires to the terminal block (F). See Figure 2.
   • Mains Supply Wire | Fitting Wire
   • Earth - Yellow/Green | Yellow/Green
   • Neutral - Blue or Black | Blue (N)
   • Live - Brown or Red | Brown (L)
   Ensure wires are secure with no bare wires exposed. Reinstall the cover over the terminal block.
6. Install the shade (C) back onto the lamp base (B). See Figure 3.
7. The fitting features a 3-step dimmable function controlled by an ON/OFF switch (not included). Cycle the switch ON/OFF within 2 seconds to select brightness:
   • Stage 1: ON (100% brightness)
   • Stage 2: OFF, then ON (60% brightness)
   • Stage 3: OFF, then ON (10% brightness)
   To return to 100% brightness at any stage, turn the fitting OFF, wait 4 seconds, then turn ON. The fitting will reset to 100%.

Note: This globe is not suitable for use with Solid-state or Phase type dimmers. Warranty will be void if used on a circuit with such dimmers.

LOOP TERMINAL: The loop terminal provides a second live supply terminal, useful when a switch is included in the wiring, as shown in Figure 4.

Safety Tips

• Always ensure power is OFF and the fitting has cooled before maintenance, cleaning, or adjustment.
• Ensure power leads and screws are secure before connecting power to prevent injury or damage.
• Keep the fitting away from corrosive chemicals.
• Clean with a damp cloth only; do not soak the fitting.
