ALLPOWERS AP-SP-035-BLA 200W Foldable Solar Panel
Product Overview
This is a fold-and-go solar panel designed for charging portable solar generators. The efficient solar cells are based on physical batteries that are recyclable, offering a longer lifespan compared to chemistry-based batteries that degrade due to lamination materials. Even after 5 years, the solar cells can retain over 80% of their power output.

How it Works
1. Placement and Angle Adjustment
Place your solar panel in an area that receives maximum sunlight and adjust its angle towards the sun for optimal performance.
- Ensure solar panels are exposed to direct sunlight, avoiding any obstructions like buildings or trees.
- Angle the solar panel between 30-60 degrees to achieve the best charging effect. [Optimal angle for sunlight]
- If panels must be placed on an uneven surface, be aware that damp or irregular surfaces might cause slight distortion. The product can recover after a second long exposure to sunlight.
- Operate at peak efficiency during sunny hours, typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the sun most direct around midday (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM). [Direct sunlight icon] [Indirect sunlight icon]
2. Connecting to Laptops/Solar Generators
Before charging, turn off your laptop or devices to reduce screen power consumption, which helps shorten the charging time. [Charging battery icon]

Connecting Multiple Solar Modules
This panel is designed for charging 12V/24V lead-acid batteries, including lithium batteries and other equipment. It is recommended to pair charging with a solar regulator to prevent overcharging.
You can connect multiple panels using MC4 Y connectors to achieve different outputs. Voltages add up when panels are connected in series, and currents add up when connected in parallel.
For optimal performance and to avoid mismatch effects, only connect panels with similar electrical output within the same string.
- Series Connection: Connecting panels from positive (+) to negative (-) increases the total voltage. The power output is also added, while the current remains unchanged.
- Parallel Connection: Connecting panels from positive (+) to positive (+) and negative (-) to negative (-) keeps the voltage the same. The current increases, and the power output is added.
Caution: Excessive solar input voltage can damage portable power stations. Always check the solar input voltage parameter of your power station and connect panels within the specified voltage range.
Diagram Description (Series Connection): This diagram illustrates multiple solar panels connected sequentially, forming a chain. The positive terminal of one panel is linked to the negative terminal of the next, designed to increase the overall voltage.
Diagram Description (Parallel Connection): This diagram shows multiple solar panels arranged side-by-side. All positive terminals are connected together, and all negative terminals are connected together, a configuration intended to increase the overall current.
MC4 Connectors
- Ensure MC4 connectors are kept dry and clean. Hand-tighten the connector caps before connecting the panel.
- Avoid making electrical connections with wet, soiled, or faulty connectors.
Warm Tips
- Do not attempt to modify the internal PCB circuit board of the solar panel, as this may lead to faulty connectors.
- Quality Assurance: ALLPOWERS offers a 3-year material and workmanship guarantee. The output power is guaranteed to be within 50% of its original capacity after 5 years, and within 10 years, the loss will not exceed 3% of the component's power.
- The solar panel charger is equipped with anti-flow protection to prevent backflow.
- Do not step, stand, or jump on the surface of the solar panel. Heavy or sharp objects can scratch the panel, causing small cracks that may affect output power or cause injury.
- If the solar panel is damaged, discontinue use and contact professional maintenance personnel or the manufacturer's after-sales service for repair. Do not attempt self-repair.
- The solar panel has a waterproof rating of IP66, making it rainproof and capable of short-term immersion in water. However, prolonged immersion is prohibited. If short-circuiting occurs due to water immersion, stop using the product and contact the seller.
Maintenance
- This panel is primarily for emergency charging. Prolonged outdoor exposure is not recommended as it may shorten the product's lifespan.
- The panel is not bendable. Handle it with care and avoid hitting it with sharp objects or knocking it heavily.
- If adhering the panels to another surface, avoid damp or irregular areas that might cause distortion after long sunlight exposure.
- It is normal for solar panels to become warm during operation. Store them in their box after they have cooled down.
- Accumulated dirt and dust can reduce power output over time. Periodic cleaning with a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent is recommended.
- Avoid leaving the panel unattended while charging devices in vehicles, especially during hot summer days when dashboard temperatures can reach 65-70°C.
- The waterproof rating is IP66, which fully prevents dust ingress. Water sprayed from any direction will not enter the interior, but complete immersion in water is strictly forbidden.
Disposal Guide
If possible, ensure the product is disposed of in a designated recycling bin. Please adhere to local laws and regulations for proper disposal.
