Product Overview
Digital 2.1 surround sound system with AM/FM/CD/DVD/MP3/MP4 playback and Optical SPDIF Audio Input.
Unit Description: The front panel of the iRV32/iRV32V2 unit features a central display screen, a large volume knob on the left, playback control buttons (Mode, AM/FM, Clock, BT/, Aux In), a CD/DVD slot, and speaker zone selection buttons.
Key Features
- CD/MP3/MP4/DVD Disc Player: Compatible with standard size discs (4.75" or 12cm), including DVD, MP3, MP4, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, JPEG-CD. Plays Region 1 DVDs (USA and Canada).
- 5V Charge Port: Provides 5V charging for devices like iPods; does not support flash drive playback.

System Setup
Press the "SETUP" button to activate the System Setup on-screen display menu. Use the navigation buttons to navigate options.
OSD Menu Options:
- TV System: Options include NTSC, AUTO, 480i/576i, 480p/576p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p.
- Screen Saver: ON/OFF.
- Resolution: Options include 4:3PS, 4:3LB, 16:9.
- TV Type: (Aspect ratio related).
- Password: (Function not detailed).
- Rating: Options include G, PG, PG13, R, NC-17.
- Default: Restore settings to factory defaults.
Language, Audio, and Speaker Setup
Language Setup
Allows selection of OSD Language, Audio Language, Subtitle Language, and Menu Language. Options include English, French, and Spanish.
Audio Setup
Configure Audio Output settings, including HDMI Audio and SPDIF options (OFF, RAW, PCM).
Speaker Setup
Configure speaker output settings, including DOWN MIX and HDMI AUDIO PCM.
Operation
Power and Mute
Press the POWER button ? to turn the unit on/off or mute/unmute the device. Press and hold for 5 seconds for full power on/off.
Disc Playback (CD/MP3/MP4/DVD)
Insert standard size discs (4.75" or 12cm) into the slot. The unit supports DVD, MP3, MP4, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, JPEG-CD. Use playback controls (Play/Pause ▶️/⏸️, Stop ⏹️, Eject ?, Fast Reverse/Forward ⏪⏩, Previous/Next ◀️▶️) for operation. DVD specific functions include ZOOM and SUBTITLE.
Radio Operation (AM/FM)
Select AM/FM bands. Features include manual tuning, auto search tuning, and preset station storage (18 FM, 12 AM). Use number buttons or navigation buttons to select stations.
Bluetooth (BT) Link
Turn on the iRV32, enable BT Link on your cell phone, search for "iRV32 BT", and connect. The screen will show "BT LINK" upon successful connection. Supports A2DP and AVRCP profiles.
5V Charge Port
This port is for charging devices like iPods and does not support flash drive playback.
Audio Input (AUX IN)
Connect analog audio sources like MP3 players or iPods via the 3.5mm input.
High Definition Input/Output
Connect HD sources to the input and output HD signals. Supports ARC (Audio Return Channel) function on the output.
Clock Setting
Press and hold the CLOCK ⏰ button for 3 seconds. Use the VOLUME knob ? to set hours and minutes. Press CLOCK again to memorize.
App Operation
Download the iRV app from the App Store or Google Play. Search for "iRV" in the respective stores. The app allows control of the unit.

Troubleshooting
No Power
Check the fuse and replace if necessary with the proper value.
LCD Errors or Button Malfunction
Turn off the unit, restart it, and use Factory Default Restart.
Poor Radio Reception or Static
Ensure the antenna is fully extended and properly grounded. Replace antenna if broken.
Disc Cannot Be Loaded
Ensure the disc is loaded correctly. Press EJECT ? to clear the disc.
No Picture
Check video cable connections. Ensure the TV SYSTEM is set to "NTSC" or compatible with your television.
Disc Error Appears
The disc may be damaged or dirty. Clean the disc and retry.
No Color on Video
Turn off the unit, restart it, and use Factory Default Restart.
Factory Default Restart
Press and hold the POWER button ? for 5 seconds until the unit shuts off. Restart by pressing the ON button. This resets all factory defaults.
Safety Precautions
- ⚠️ RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK: DO NOT OPEN. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified personnel.
- WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not remove the cover.
- Improper operation may result in electric shock, fire, or other hazard. Do not open the cabinet yourself.
- Use only components recommended by the factory for replacements.
- Turn the unit off when not in use. Clean with a dry, soft cloth.
- PRECAUTION: Moisture may cause the lens on the loader to malfunction. To remedy, turn the unit on, eject the disc, and run for 1-2 hours to vaporize moisture.
- Do not use broken, scratched, or twisted discs.
- Use only 5" (12cm) discs.
Remote Control Guide
- 1. Power ?: Turns the unit on/off and mutes/unmutes.
- 2. Eject ?: Ejects the disc.
- 3. 0-9 Numbers: Select stations (Radio) or tracks/chapters (Disc).
- 4. Fast Reverse / Forward ⏪⏩: Selects playback speed.
- 5. Menu: Accesses DVD title menu and root menu.
- 6. Play/Pause ▶️/⏸️: Controls playback.
- 7. Mode: Selects input source (Radio, DVD, BT, TV audio, etc.).
- 8. Navigation Buttons: Navigate menus.
- 9. OK: Finalizes selection.
- 10. AM/FM ?: Selects AM or FM bands.
- 11. Zone 1,2,3 ?: Turns sound on/off for specific zones.
- 12. ZOOM (DVD Only): Selects zoom levels for DVD playback.
- 13. SUBTITLE (SUB-T) (DVD Only): Selects subtitle language or turns off subtitles.
- 14. PREVIOUS/NEXT ◀️▶️: Selects previous or next track/station/chapter.
- 15. REPEAT: Repeats current track or all tracks.
- 16. STOP ⏹️: Stops playback.
- 17. MUTE ?: Mutes all zones.
- 18. AUDIO (DVD Only): Adjusts surround sound mode and language.
- 19. VOLUME ?: Increases or decreases volume.
- 20. SETUP ⚙️: Accesses DVD setup menu.
Radio Operation
Power and Mute
Turns the power on and off and makes the device mute. Push and hold for power "on and off". Quick push for power "mute".
Radio Reception Mode
Press to access the radio, press to activate desired band: AM1, AM2, FM1, FM2, FM3.
Manual Tuning
Select Band, then use the single arrowed buttons to move channels up or down.
Auto Search Tuning
Push to auto search for an available station at a higher or lower frequency. The unit stays at the selected station until another function is selected.
Manual Frequency Presets
Select Band, select desired frequency, and hold the desired numeral for 3 seconds to set the frequency. Repeat to change frequency. Can be preset for AM1, AM2, FM1, FM2, FM3.
Recall Frequency Presets
Select Band (AM1, AM2, FM1, FM2, FM3), then select the desired numeral.
Automatic Store / Preset Scan
A. Automatic Scan & Store: While listening to the Radio, long press the Play/Pause ▶️/⏸️ button. The receiver will automatically scan and save stations. B. Scan Saved Stations: Short press the Play/Pause ▶️/⏸️ button once to perform scanning functions.
Auto Best Station Memory
While in FM1, pressing NEXT ▶️ starts scanning from low to high frequencies. Pressing PREVIOUS ◀️ scans from high to low. Strong stations found are stored in presets. This function is available for both FM (18 presets) and AM (12 presets) bands.
Clock Setting the Time
Press and hold the CLOCK ⏰ button for 3 seconds. The hour will flash. Use the VOLUME knob ? to set the correct hour. Press the VOLUME button to move to minutes. Minutes will flash. Use the VOLUME knob ? to set the correct minutes. Press the CLOCK button to memorize.
BT Link
Connect iRV 32 with a BT device. Turn on iRV 32 power, enter BT Link in your cell. Search "iRV32 BT", then click connect. The iRV 32 screen shows BT LINK upon successful connection.
DVD/CD/MP3/MP4 OPERATION
Fast Reverse / Fast Forward ⏪⏩: Use 2X, 4X, 8X, 20X speeds. Push the PLAY ▶️ button to return to normal speed.
