Bluetooth Pairing
Step 1: Prepare Your Device
Turn on the Bluetooth ? feature in your device's settings. (Visual: Screenshot showing device Bluetooth settings with 'Bluetooth' toggled on.)
Step 2: Initiate Pairing Mode
Press and hold the multi-function button on the earbud for 8 seconds. Release the button. The indicator light will blink red and blue, indicating pairing mode. (Visual: Diagram of the earbud showing the multi-function button.)
Step 3: Connect to Your Device
Select "JLab Epic Sport" from your device's Bluetooth list to connect. The light will slow blink blue when Bluetooth is paired. (Visual: Screenshot showing device Bluetooth settings with 'JLab Epic Sport' selected.)
Recurring Use
Once the JLab Epic Sport 2 earbuds have been initially paired to your device, they will auto-connect to your Bluetooth device when powered back on. Refer to the 'BUTTON FUNCTIONS' section for power operations.
Charging
Open the USB door on the earbuds and connect the charging cable to a computer or a 5V (or less) power source to charge. Button Functions
The JLab Epic Sport 2 features multiple functions controlled by its buttons:
- Volume Up: Quick press the volume up button.
- Track Forward: Press and hold the volume up button for 2 seconds.
- Power On: Press and hold the multi-function button for 3 seconds. ⚡
- Power Off: Press and hold the multi-function button for 5 seconds. ⚡
- Play/Pause/Answer/Hang Up: Quick press the multi-function button. ▶️ / ⏸️
- Bluetooth Pair: Press and hold the multi-function button for 8 seconds (refer to Bluetooth Pairing section). ?
- Activate Google/Siri: Double-click the multi-function button.
- Volume Down: Quick press the volume down button. ➖
- Track Backward: Press and hold the volume down button for 2 seconds.

Equalizer Modes
Quickly press both buttons to cycle through different EQ settings. The Epic Sport 2 will cycle through 3 EQ settings:
- JLab Signature (One Beep): JLab C3™ signature sound with amplified bass and vocals.
- Balanced (Two Beeps): Even sound with no additional enhancements.
- Bass Boost (Three Beeps): Amplified bass and sub-bass.
Voice Prompts
The earbuds provide voice prompts for status updates:
- "HELLO" = Power is ON.
- "BATTERY FULL" = Battery is 100-75%.
- "BATTERY MEDIUM" = Battery is 75-25%.
- "LOW BATTERY" = Battery is less than 25%.
- "READY TO PAIR" = JLab Epic Sport 2 earbuds are ready to connect to your Bluetooth device.
- "YOU'RE CONNECTED" = JLab Epic Sport 2 is connected to your Bluetooth device and ready for use.
- "GOODBYE" = Power is turning OFF.
Fitting
Achieve the best fit for comfort and sound quality:
- Try various ear tips and Cush Fins to find the best fit. (Visual: Diagram showing 'EAR TIP', 'CUSH FIN™', and 'EARBUD' components.)
- Rotate the earbud into your ear canal.
- Bend the Memory Wire to your desired position for a secure fit. (Visual: Diagram illustrating the fitting process.)
Cable Clip Use
Use the included cable clip for managing the earbud cable:
- Attach the optional cable holder to tighten or loosen the cable during use. (Visual: Diagram showing the cable holder being attached.)
- Insert the optional cable clip into the back of the cable holder. (Visual: Diagram showing the cable clip being inserted.)
- Open the cable clip and attach it to your apparel for securement. (Visual: Diagram showing the clip attached to clothing.)
Connection Troubleshooting
I DO NOT SEE JLAB EPIC SPORT IN MY DEVICE

- If "JLab Epic Sport" is still not visible, repeat the "FIRST TIME SETUP: BLUETOOTH PAIRING" directions. (Visual: Screenshot showing device Bluetooth settings.)
JLAB EPIC SPORT 2 DOES NOT RECONNECT TO MY DEVICE AFTER POWERING ON
- In your device's settings, find and "forget" the JLab Epic Sport. (Visual: Screenshot showing device Bluetooth settings with 'JLab Epic Sport' selected and an 'i' icon.)
- Turn Bluetooth ? off and then back on in your device's settings. (Visual: Screenshot showing device Bluetooth settings with Bluetooth toggled off and on.)

BLUETOOTH IS CONNECTING TO AN UNWANTED DEVICE
Note: The JLab Epic Sport 2 can remember up to 8 devices and will attempt to auto-connect to the last used device.
- If you have more than one device previously connected to your JLab Epic Sport 2, turn OFF Bluetooth ? on the unwanted devices and ensure Bluetooth is ON on your chosen device. (Visual: Screenshot showing multiple Bluetooth devices listed, with instructions to turn off unwanted ones.)
- If the earbuds do not connect to the desired device, press and hold the multi-function button for 8 seconds to re-initiate pairing mode. The light will blink red and blue. (Visual: Diagram of the earbud showing the multi-function button and light indicator.)
Cautions
- Avoid getting moisture or liquids into the tip of the earbuds or charging port.
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds, stressing the cable by rapid pulling or extreme force, or bending the cable at a sharp angle.
- Wax may build up in the earbud tips, potentially lowering sound quality. Carefully remove wax with a cotton swab or other small tool to improve sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume ➖ or discontinuing use temporarily.
- If you experience regular discomfort while using this product, discontinue use and consult your physician.
- Treat your earbuds with care, similar to a pair of sunglasses, and keep them in a safe location when not in use.
