Installation Process
- Prepare the Bin: Remove the lid and place it upside down.
- Install Batteries: Open the battery case located on the underside of the lid. Insert 6 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery case cover. (Diagram shows batteries being inserted into a compartment).
- Place Garbage Bags:
- General Sortable Dust Bin: Remove the inner bucket, place the trash bag into the bucket, and tuck any excess bag into the designated hole. Reinsert the inner bucket into the trash can.
- The Drawer: Slowly pull out the drawer. The trash bag can be secured in the gap of the divider or tucked into the storage hole on either side of the bin.
- Switch On: Press the power switch (left button on the screen) for 3 seconds to activate the automatic sensor system.
Operation and Functions
- Instruction Sensing Function: The lid automatically opens when waste or a body part is detected within 15-25 cm and closes after about 5 seconds.
- Manual Operation: Press the left button to manually open or close the lid. The lid will remain open for up to 5 minutes in manual mode.
- Sterilization:
- Manual Sterilization: Press and hold the right button for 3 seconds to activate the photocatalytic sterilization function for 10 minutes. This process can be stopped early by pressing the right button again.
- Intelligent Sterilization: The photocatalytic germicidal efficacy automatically starts every 12 hours when the power is on. This process can also be terminated early by pressing the right button.
Troubleshooting
Lid Opens or Closes Abnormally
- Check battery installation and power levels.
- Ensure the sensing area is clean and free of dirt.
- Verify electrical circuits are dry; do not connect power if wet.
- Remove any obstacles around the lid.
Lid Opens Slowly
- Replace dry batteries if low on power.
- Recharge lithium batteries if low on power.
Important Notes
- Always follow +/- instructions when installing batteries.
- Clean the trash bin with a neat cloth; do not flush with water. Water can damage internal electrical components. Do not power on if water is inside the bin.
- Avoid pushing or twisting the lid to prevent damage.
- Replace batteries promptly when power is low to prevent liquid leakage, which can damage electrical elements.
- Do not use the trash bin in direct sunlight or wet surroundings.
- Keep the sensing area clean for normal sensor function.
- Do not mix acidic, alkaline, rechargeable, or disposable batteries.
- Do not attempt to repair or replace parts of the trash bin yourself, as self-caused damage is not covered by the warranty.
