3.7.2 - Driver Deadline/Fee: CoB Tue., Sep. 2. Until close of Sporting Checks (Art. 11.2), an expediting fee is charged. No applications (or related documents) processed after close of Sporting Checks (Art. 11.2) except per Art. 3.7.2.
4.3.6 - Event Confirmations: Event Confirmation Declarations must be submitted via MERG no later than 4pm Mon., Sep. 8. $500 is charged for late Declarations or Driver changes made after this deadline until the close of Sporting Checks. Teams are permitted one (1) 3-or-more-wheeled support vehicle(s) (such as golf carts/tugs) in the Paddock area per entered Car. IWSC GTP Teams are permitted two (2) additional such support vehicles and only these two (2) vehicles are permitted in pit lane. All non-GTP and other Series Teams are permitted one (1) additional such support vehicle and only this one (1) vehicle is permitted in pit lane. Racetrack Requirements - Paddock/Pit vehicles must be operated by a licensed driver 18 years or older. All Paddock/Pit vehicles must be registered and receive a permit from Indianapolis Motor Speedway to operate on IMS property and must submit a compliant certificate of insurance. - 15. Noncompliant Trailers: Teams intending to bring trailers beyond their permitted Paddock allocation under IMSA regulations (Additional Trailers) must follow specific procedures established by IMSA. These trailers may be granted a limited timeframe to enter an area adjacent to the Paddock for the purpose of offloading equipment. The timing for this movement and offload will be determined and communicated solely by IMSA Logistics. Any equipment offloaded from these additional trailers must not be set up or used until the published setup time for each respective Series begins. Following the offload, additional trailers must exit the designated offloading area and proceed to an IMSA-assigned parking area located outside the Paddock. This location may remain inaccessible throughout the duration of the Event, and re-entry is only permitted at the conclusion of the Event for reloading. Teams planning to bring Additional Trailers must formally declare intent by contacting both IMSA Logistics and their respective IMSA Series Manager. This declaration must include specific information such as the truck and trailer type, size and color, along with a team contact to include email and cell phone. The deadline for submission is EoD Thu., Sep. 11. Failure to declare may result in denial of access and is subject to penalty.
- 16. Facility Restrictions:
- Garages: Teams may: Put end-cap boards or sliding doors on shelves. Hang monitors from the shelves. Place tile in their garages. Bring in cabinets for equipment storage. Install wall systems in the garage. Remove IMS work benches (place outside garage for pickup by IMS). Overhead Team signboards are provided to all Team garages. Recommended garage signage vendor: Sport Graphics, Brian McKee, bmckee@sportg.com. Teams in Trackside Garages may place equipment and EZ-Up (pop up) tents in front of (against) garages. Equipment only is permitted along Paddock side of pit lane fence. Teams in A/B/C Garages may utilize the space between garage and white line for equipment storage only (no pop-up tents except Autograph Session). Fire lanes must remain clear at all times. IWSC Teams may place a single EZ-Up (pop up) tent outside of its garage (Paddock side) during the 1-hour Autograph Session for shade. Teams must NOT: Paint the floors or walls or place stickers on garage floors, walls and/or doors. Undertake buildouts outside of the garages (ex. to hide A/C units). Cover the electrical circuit breaker box. Modify or replace lights/fans in the garage bay. EZ-Up (pop-up) tents are prohibited against either side of pit lane fence. EZ-Ups are prohibited in A/B/C Garages between garage and white line.
- Pit Lane: Teams must NOT: Place any logo/branding on the trench wall, facing the team pits. Teams may brand their designated pit boxes and pit walls per usual.
