Also, avoid placing it near heat sources such as radiators, stoves, or in direct sunlight. The recommended height for placement is 150 cm above the floor. Experimentation may be needed to find the most convenient spot.

Battery Placement

To replace batteries, remove the battery cover on the back of the Room Thermostat. Insert two new AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity, and close the cover. Always replace both batteries at the same time. A low battery warning is indicated by a `[battery icon]` on the screen. It is recommended to replace batteries when this warning appears. If the product will not be used for an extended period (over 15 days), remove the batteries to prevent malfunctions and potential warranty issues. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.

Room Thermostat Working Logic

Heating Mode

The thermostat bases its operation on the average room temperature over the last 40 seconds. If the room temperature exceeds the set point plus the hysteresis positive value, the heating unit stops. If it drops below the set point minus the hysteresis negative value, the heating unit starts. This process ensures the room temperature remains within a defined range.

Cooling Mode

Similarly, in cooling mode, the thermostat uses the average room temperature over the last 40 seconds. If the room temperature exceeds the set point plus the hysteresis positive value, the cooling unit starts. If it drops below the set point minus the hysteresis negative value, the cooling unit stops. This maintains the room temperature within a specified range.

Communication Between Room Thermostat and Receiver

The Room Thermostat sends its last status signal to the Receiver every 10 minutes, ensuring synchronous operation. If the Receiver does not receive a signal from the Room Thermostat for 22 minutes or longer, it interprets this as a broken connection and stops the heating/cooling operation for safety. In cases of power restoration after an outage, the Receiver will not operate the heating/cooling unit until it receives an 'operate' signal from the Room Thermostat. If the Room Thermostat continues to operate normally, it will send status signals every 10 minutes, and the system will function correctly without manual intervention.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my Room Thermostat compatible with my heating/cooling unit?

Your Room Thermostat is compatible if your heating/cooling unit has on-off connections. Consult your heating/cooling unit's operating manual or service provider for specific compatibility information.

How will I connect my heating/cooling unit with my Receiver?

It is recommended that the connection between the Receiver and the heating/cooling unit be performed by professionally qualified persons. A 2x0.75 mm cable is sufficient for this connection. Connect one end of the cable pair to the room thermostat connection terminals as stated in your heating/cooling unit's user manual. Connect the other end of the cable pair to the COM and NO inputs of the terminal inside the Receiver, as shown in the "RECEIVER WIRING DIAGRAM" section. The direction of the cable ends does not matter.
