Power Cable Routing Solution
IMPORTANT! Read this before routing the cable.
To prevent potential damage to the power cable, mount and position the camera on the vehicle's windshield in the desired recording direction before connecting and routing the power cable.
Option 1: Cable Routing with Panel Removal
For vehicles without A-pillar airbags.
- Thoroughly clean and dry the windshield area where the camera's suction cup will be attached.
- Mount the camera assembly onto the windshield.
- Plan your cable routing, as illustrated.
- Using the panel removal tool, carefully remove necessary panels for your chosen cable route. Route the cable under the headliner trim.
- Note: It is recommended to explore your vehicle beforehand to plan the installation.
- Connect the power cable to the camera and then route the cable from the camera to the 12-volt power source. Use the adhesive rubber cable clips to secure the cable routing near the camera.
- Reassemble the panels in reverse order, hiding any excess coiled cable.
Option 2: Cable Routing using Adhesive Cable Clips
For vehicles with A-pillar airbags.
- Thoroughly clean and dry the windshield area where the camera's suction cup will be attached, and where the adhesive rubber cable clips will be affixed.
- Mount the camera assembly onto the windshield.
- Plan your cable routing, as illustrated.
- Connect and route the cable from the camera to the 12-volt socket under the headliner, along the edge of the windshield and near the trim/panels.
- Route the USB cable using the provided adhesive rubber clips, which will help secure the cable in its chosen location.
How to Route the Power Cable?
Adhesive Cable Clips
Use the adhesive rubber cable clips to route the cable from the camera to the 12V power source (recommended for Option 2), as shown in the previous illustration.

Cable Management, Zip Ties, and Clips
Cable management for the USB cable prevents it from slipping under the headliner. Use the included zip ties and rubber clips to secure excess cable or to fasten it along existing vehicle cable routing.
