SCOSCHE Industries, innovators of award-winning consumer technology and accessories, are previewing their feature-rich, Smart Dual Dash Camera - Powered by Nexar, for attendees of the 2020 International CES.
Introducing the NEXS2 Smart Dual Dash Camera
The NEXS2 is part of a new range of Scosche Smart Dash Cameras that leverages the technology of a smartphone and the Nexar safe driving app to record, capture, store, and upload video footage of drives and significant incidents to a personal Nexar Cloud. Together, this Dash Cam, the Nexar safe driving app, and a smartphone (iOS or Android), help protect a vehicle, livelihood, reputation, and personal safety.
Camera Specifications
The NEXS2 features two cameras, capturing video footage both inside and outside of the vehicle:
- Front Camera: 1080p @30fps, Sony® Starvis Image Sensor with a 155-degree wide angle lens and ultra-low light visibility +HDR for superior night vision.
- Rear Camera: 720p @30pfs with a 140-degree wide angle lens sensor paired with an IR LED array for visibility within the vehicle cabin, even in dark conditions.

- Incident Reporting: The Nexar app provides One-Click reporting, sending comprehensive incident reports directly to participating insurance companies.
- Moment Sharing: The NEXS2 captures interesting driving moments, making it easy to share video footage with friends, family, and on social media.
- Connectivity: Equipped with robust WiFi for quick and reliable connection and communication with a smartphone.
- G-Sensor & Parking Mode: A high-precision 3-Axis G-Sensor automatically detects, measures, and records incidents. It also supports Parking mode, which records video of incidents and impacts that occur when the vehicle is parked.
- Nexar App Integration: Works with the NEXS2 to provide GPS data and Siri® Shortcut integration. The app operates while driving and stops when the vehicle stops.
- Cloud Storage: Offers free storage of significant events to a personal Nexar Cloud. Footage automatically deletes from the camera once uploaded, ensuring continuous storage space.

Availability and Pricing
The NEXS2, part of Scosche's SafeTech™ line, will be available Summer 2020, with a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $199.99.
