About the Thrive Hearing Control App
Your Thrive platform 2.4 GHz hearing aids can connect via Bluetooth® technology to a compatible app called the Thrive Hearing Control app. The Thrive app allows you to easily control your hearing aids and do things such as:
- Adjust the sound of your hearing aids
- Answer and stream phone calls
- Stream music, TV and other media directly to your hearing aids
- Track health and fitness data and utilize convenient information features

App Interface Overview
The Thrive Hearing Control app interface, as depicted in the provided visual, includes several key elements for managing your hearing aids and wellness:
- Thrive Assistant: A feature for voice commands and assistance.
- Connection Status: Indicates the current connection status of your hearing aids to the device.
- Wellness Score: Displays your daily wellness score, which is calculated based on activity and engagement metrics. The example shows a score of 162 out of a possible 200, with Activity at 84/100 and Engagement at 78/100.

Getting Started: Step-by-Step Guide
1. Download the Thrive Hearing Control app
- Open the App Store®.
- In the search box, type "Thrive Hearing Control".
- Tap the "Get" button to download the app to your mobile device.
2. Connect your hearing aids to your mobile device
Follow these instructions to connect your hearing aids to your Apple® mobile device. If your hearing aids lose connection, repeat these steps to reconnect.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Apple device. In the Settings menu, navigate to Bluetooth and toggle the switch to "On".
- Within the Settings menu, go to Accessibility > Hearing Devices.
- Power your hearing aids off and then back on to put them into pairing mode.
- When the hearing aids are discovered, they will appear under the "Devices" list with your hearing aid name (e.g., "Michelle's Hearing Aids"). Tap on your hearing aid name to connect them to the Apple device.
- You will see two pairing requests, one for each hearing aid. Select "Pair" for each request. These requests may appear several seconds apart. When pairing is complete, your hearing aid name will change from black to blue.
3. Set up the Thrive Hearing Control app
- Open the Thrive app and tap "Get Started" to begin the setup process.
- Thrive User Agreement: Review the Thrive User Agreement and check the box to acknowledge your acceptance. Tap "Agree to Continue".
- Thrive App Sign in: Sign in using your Apple, Facebook, or Google account, or create a new account using an active email and password.
- Connecting to the Hearing Aids: The app will attempt to connect to your hearing aids. A prompt will ask if you would like to connect via Bluetooth. Select "OK". A congratulations message will display indicating that the hearing aids are now connected. Tap "Continue".
- Thrive Function Overview: An overview of the app's functions will provide quick information and practice for commonly used adjustments and features. Tap "Continue" to proceed.
- Notifications and Reminders: The app may ask to share notifications. Select "Allow" or "Don't Allow" as preferred.
- Thrive Assistant: To use Thrive Assistant, allow the app to access the mobile device microphone. Select "Allow microphone access", then tap "OK".
- You're all set! Tap "Continue" to begin using the Thrive app.
