Getting Started with Your Hearing Aids

Battery Management:

• To insert or replace the battery, use the finger pick on the battery door.
• Open the door gently, remove the old battery, and insert a new one with the "+" side up.
• Wait 3-5 minutes after removing the tab from a new battery before insertion.
• Never force the battery door shut. If it doesn't close securely, ensure the battery is correctly inserted.
• Dispose of used batteries properly.

Powering On & Off:

• To Turn On: Insert a battery and completely close the battery door. A power-on delay may occur, followed by an indicator tone.
• To Turn Off: Open the battery door until the battery no longer touches the contacts.

Hearing Aid Care:

• Keep hearing aids clean and dry. Use a soft cloth or cleaning brush for debris around controls and compartments.
• Regularly inspect the receiver, earbud, and wax guard.
• Never use water, solvents, or cleaning fluids.
• When not in use, open the battery door to allow moisture to evaporate and store in a dry, safe place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Hear Clear Receiver Wax Guards

Livio hearing aids feature disposable Hear Clear wax guards to prevent earwax accumulation in the receiver. To replace:

1. Insert the empty end of the application stick into the used wax guard.
2. Pull straight out to remove the used guard.
3. Use the other end of the stick to insert a new wax guard firmly.
4. Pull straight out to remove the stick.

The Thrive Hearing Control app allows you to manage your 2.4 GHz hearing aids with compatible Apple® or Android™ devices.
