Top Panel Controls:

Remote Control Setup
Getting Started:
Insert one lithium battery (CR2025) into the remote control. Ensure the polarity is correct before inserting the battery. The plus (+) polarity on the battery should be facing up. Refer to the markings in the battery compartment.
Notes:
- Use only the size and type of battery specified.
- Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the battery as indicated in the battery compartment. A reversed battery may cause damage to the device.
- Do not drop or step on the remote control; this may cause internal damage to the device.
- If not using the remote control for a long period of time, remove the battery to avoid possible damage due to battery leakage.
Remote control effective range:
Aim the remote control at the unit's IR receiver. The distance to the unit should be less than 5 meters and within a 30° angle.
The remote control may be less effective if:
- The unit is placed under intense ambient lighting.
- There are obstacles between the remote control and IR receiver.
- Other remote controls are operated at the same time.
- Low battery power.
Connection
Connecting Mobile Devices (iPod/iPhone/iPad/Android):
Switch off the iPod/iPhone/iPad/Android and the unit before docking. Select the appropriate docking adapter that matches your smart phone. Insert the correct docking adapter onto the DOCK, then connect your iPod/iPhone/iPad/Android Phone accordingly. Make sure your iPod/iPhone/iPad/Android Phone is connected securely before playing the system.
Docking Adapters:
Diagrams show different adapters for Android, iPhone/iPod/iPad, and New iPhone/iPod/iPad.
Docking Process:
Diagrams show the speaker unit with different mobile devices being docked.
Attention: To prevent any damages to the base connector, do not shake or bump the iPod/iPhone/iPad/Android Phone during playback.
Connecting Audio Sources:
Antenna Connections:
- AM Loop Antenna (Supplied): Connect to the AM ANT. 300Ω port.
- FM Antenna (Supplied): Connect the 75 Ω coaxial cable to the FM ANT. 75Ω port. Ensure the antenna is oriented towards the broadcasting station for best reception. An FM indoor antenna is also provided.
Other Audio Sources:
- CD/DVD Player: Connect the audio output of a CD/DVD player to the AUX IN port using an audio cable. Connection to CD/DVD is optional.
Note: Please remove plastic from wire tips that are attached to the radio antenna and insert both wires to the AM port.
Operation Instructions
START
Connect the power and turn the power switch to "ON". The speaker will enter standby mode, and the LED screen will be dimly lit. Press and hold the [Standby] button; the speaker turns to working mode, and the LED screen will be brighter.
INPUT
Press [INPUT] to cycle through input modes. The sequence is: DOCK → BT → AUX → AM → FM.
MUTE
Press [MUTE] to enter mute mode. Press the button again or use [Volume +] / [Volume -] to exit mute mode.
SETUP
When under AUX, DOCK, or BT mode, pressing [SETUP] cycles through modes:
TIME [time set] → SLxx [sleeping time set] → ALM [alarm time set] → Txxx [Treble adjust] → Bxxx [Bass adjust] → Recent time.
When under FM/AM mode, pressing [SETUP] cycles through modes:
MEN → Recent frequency → Bxxx [Bass adjust] → Txxx [Treble adjust] → TIME [time set] → ALM [alarm time set] → ALM [sleeping time change].
1. When "Bxxx" or "Txxx" is displayed, use [Previous] / [Next] buttons to adjust the level of bass or treble.
2. When "TIME" is displayed, set the "hour" and "minute" using [Previous] / [Next], then press [ENTER] to confirm.
3. When "SLxx" is displayed, set the sleeping time by pressing [Previous] / [Next] (options: 00, 05, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 minutes). Press [ENTER] to confirm. When time is up, the speaker returns to standby mode. "00" means the sleeping function is turned off.
4. When "ALM" is displayed, press [ENTER] to turn on the alarm mode. "ON/OFF" will be displayed. Use [Previous] / [Next] to toggle between "ON" and "OFF". Choose "ON" and press [ENTER] to set the alarm time using [Previous] / [Next]. Press [ENTER] again to select the alarm mode, then press [ENTER] to confirm.
Note: Adjustments for the above modes can be controlled using [Previous] / [Next] and [ENTER] (or the [SETUP] button on the unit).
FM/AM Mode Specifics:
When under FM mode, the FM indicator lights up. The radio frequency blinks when [SETUP] is pressed twice. Use [Previous] / [Next] to manually search for stations step-by-step. Hold the button to perform a fast search.
Bluetooth Mode Specifics:
When under BT mode, [Previous] / [Next] buttons function as previous and next track selection.
VOLUME
Press [Volume +] / [Volume -] to control the volume. [Volume +] increases volume, and [Volume -] decreases volume. Max volume: 40 dB, Min volume: 0dB.
TREBLE
TREBLE [+/-] is for controlling the volume of treble. Range of adjustment: ±10dB.
BASS
BASS [+/-] is for controlling the volume of bass. Range of adjustment: ±10dB.
AUX
Press [INPUT] until AUX mode is selected. The "AUX" indicator will show on the LED Display. Audio signals from devices like DVD or CD players can be input into the speaker.
DOCK
- MENU: Pressing [MENU] returns to the previous menu when in DOCK mode. This function is not available in AUX, TUNER, or BT modes.
- [Previous] / [Next]: Use these buttons to switch tracks. Holding them will fast forward or rewind the music. This function is only available in DOCK mode.
- ENTER: Press [ENTER] briefly to confirm selections in DOCK mode, or to confirm time and alarm settings.
- [Repeat Mode]: When in DOCK mode, this button cycles through repeat modes: "ONE" (single repeat), "ALL" (repeat all songs), "OFF" (repeat disabled).
- [Random Play]: When in DOCK mode, this button enables or disables random playback. Press repeatedly to switch between "ON" and "OFF".
Note: The Android docking can provide music playback and charging simultaneously for models with Android 4.2 or above, provided digital audio out is enabled.
BLUETOOTH
1. Press [INPUT] on the control panel or remote until "BT" mode is shown. The dot next to the BT symbol will flash rapidly, indicating the speaker is available for pairing.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your device, search for this speaker, and connect. Once connected, the dot will flash slowly.
Note: If a PIN code is requested, enter "0000". Some devices may require connection approval.
Note: Once paired, subsequent connections will be automatic if the device is within Bluetooth range.
3. Adjust the volume to your desired level.
4. APT-X is available.
LISTENING TO THE RADIO
FM/AM MODE
Manual Search: Hold [Manual Search] (symbol: Q) for a few seconds in FM/AM mode. When a station signal is found, the frequency display stops changing. Hold [Next Station] (symbol: / ) to search for the next station.
Automatic Search: Press [SETUP] until "MEM" is displayed. Press [ENTER] to confirm. The speaker enters automatic search mode and scans for available radio frequencies. After searching, use [Previous Station] / [Next Station] to select a found station.
DISPLAY MODE
Press the [Display Mode] button to switch between clock and operation mode displays.
