Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the AZATOM® Home Hub. This manual provides important information regarding the setup and operation of your new device. Please read it carefully and keep it for future reference.
The Home Hub is a versatile Bluetooth-enabled docking station featuring a radio alarm and premium speaker drivers for rich sound. Its compact design and 30W of power allow it to fill any room with sound. Bluetooth™ connectivity enables wireless streaming from phones, tablets, and laptops. The custom amplifier and High Fidelity Drivers ensure superb audio quality for music, podcasts, and movie soundtracks.

Controls & Interface
Unit Controls:
- 1 SNOOZE/DIMMER: Repeat alarm or adjust display brightness.
- 2 ON/OFF/SOURCE: Turn the unit on/off or select the play function.
- 3 ►|| / OK: Start or pause playback.
- 4 ◄◄ / ►►►►►: Skip to previous/next audio file or search radio stations.
- 5 ALARM 1/ALARM 2: Set alarm timer or view alarm settings.
- 6 VOLUME +/-: Increase or decrease volume level.

Remote Control:

- 11 ALARM 1: Set alarm 1 timer, view alarm 1 settings.
- 12 SLEEP: Set the sleep timer.
- 13 EQ: Select a preset sound effect (e.g., Classic, Rock, Jazz).
- 14 MUTE: Mute or resume sound.
- 15 LINE IN: Select LINE IN function.
- 16 CLOCK: Set the clock (press and hold in standby mode).
- 17 SKIP FORWARDS ►►►►►: Skip to next audio file, search radio stations manually.
- 18 PROG: Preset stations for tuner.
- 19 ALARM 2: Set alarm 2 timer, view alarm 2 settings.
- 20 VOL+/VOL-: Increase/Decrease volume level.
Power and Battery Installation
Install Batteries (for Clock/Alarm Backup):
- Open the battery compartment.
- Install two AAA batteries (not supplied).
- Close the battery compartment.
Note: Batteries power the clock and alarm only. AC power is required for full operation. If the system is unplugged or experiences a power failure, setups will be erased unless batteries are installed.
Connect Power:
Caution: Ensure the power supply voltage matches the unit's specifications. Connect the AC power cord to the unit and a wall socket.
Remote Control Battery:
The remote control uses a lithium CR2025 battery. Remove the protective tab before first use. To replace the battery, pull out the battery tray, remove the old battery, insert the new battery with correct polarity, and reinsert the tray.
Precautions Concerning Batteries:
- Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for an extended period.
- Wipe away any battery leakage before replacing batteries.
- Use only specified battery types.
- Do not heat, disassemble, or dispose of batteries in fire or water.
- Avoid storing batteries with metallic objects.
- Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
Using the Home Hub
General Operation
- Turn On: Press the ON/OFF button. The unit will start in the last used mode.
- Turn Off: Press and hold the ON/OFF button to return to standby mode. The unit will automatically enter standby after 15 minutes of inactivity. Unplug the power cord for extended periods of non-use.
Set Time:
- In standby mode, press and hold CLOCK. The hour indicator will blink.
- Use ▲/▼ buttons to set the hour.
- Press CLOCK to confirm. The minute indicator will blink.
- Repeat steps 2-3 to set minutes, day, month, and year.
- To select 12/24 hour format, press and hold CLOCK for 3 seconds, then press ►||.
Set the Alarm Timer:
- Ensure the clock is set correctly.
- Press FM/BT to select the alarm sound source (FM tuner or buzzer).
- Press and hold ALARM 1 or ALARM 2. The hour digits will blink.
- Use ▲/▼ to set the hour, then press ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 to confirm.
- Press ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 to set the minutes.
- Repeat steps 5-6 to set the minute.
- Repeat steps 5-6 to select the alarm schedule (week, weekdays, weekend).
- Repeat steps 5-6 to set the alarm volume.
Activate and Deactivate the Alarm Timer:
Press ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 to activate or deactivate the timer. Pressing once displays settings; pressing again enables/disables the alarm. Activated timers show [AL1] or [AL2]. Deactivated timers hide the alarm clock icon.
Repeat Alarm:
When the alarm rings, press SNOOZE/DIMMER for a 9-minute repeat.
Stop Alarm Ring:
Press the corresponding ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button when the alarm is ringing.
View Alarm Settings:
Press ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 to view the current alarm settings.
Set the Sleep Timer:
- Press SLEEP repeatedly to select a desired time period (in minutes). The volume will decrease as the timer counts down.
- Press SLEEP repeatedly until [OFF] is displayed to deactivate the sleep timer.
Adjust Display Brightness:
Press DIMMER repeatedly to cycle through brightness levels.
Adjust Volume Level:
Use the VOL+/- buttons to adjust the volume.
Select a Preset Sound Effect:
Press the EQ button repeatedly to select sound effects: [FLAT], [Pop], [Classic], [Rock], [Jazz].
Mute Sound:
Press the MUTE button to mute or restore sound.
Play from iPod/iPhone/iPad
Using the dock, you can play music files stored on your iPod/iPhone/iPad.
- Press the PUSH logo on the docking cover to open it.
- Insert your iPod/iPhone/iPad into the dock.
- Press the DOCK button on the remote or the SOURCE button on the unit to select the iPod/iPhone/iPad source.
Playback Controls:
- Play/Pause: ►|| button.
- Skip Track: ◄◄ / ►►►►► buttons.
- Search within playback: Press and hold ◄◄ / ►►►►►, then release to resume normal play.
- Navigate Menu (iPod/iPhone only): Press MENU, use ▲/▼ to select, press ►|| to confirm.
- Repeat Options: Press REPEAT repeatedly.
Before docking an iPad, remove rubber inserts and attach the iPad support rest.
Charging your iPod/iPhone/iPad:
The docked device begins charging when the unit is connected to AC power.
Play with Bluetooth Device
Listen to music from a Bluetooth-enabled device.
Pair Bluetooth-enabled Devices Manually:
- Turn on the Bluetooth function on your device.
- Switch the player's source to Bluetooth. The display shows “BT” or “NO BT” if no device is connected.
- Press and hold the PAIR button on the remote for a few seconds. The display shows “PAIR”.
- Search for Bluetooth devices on your device.
- Select “AZATOM Hub” in the pairing list.
- If prompted, enter the password “0000”. The display shows “BT” upon successful pairing.
- To disconnect, turn off Bluetooth on your device or switch the player to another source.
Tips:
- To re-activate pairing mode, hold and press PAIR. This will interrupt the current connection.
- If no other Bluetooth device pairs within two minutes, or if the device moves out of range, it may disconnect. Re-establish connection by bringing the device within range.
- If connection is lost, the display shows “NO BT”. Re-pair the device following the instructions above.
Controlling Music from your Bluetooth Device:
If your device supports A2DP, you can listen to music. If it supports AVRCP, you can use the player's remote control for playback:
- Play/Pause: ►|| button.
- Skip Track: ◄◄ / ►►►►► buttons.
Play from an External Audio Device
Listen to an external audio device via the LINE IN connection.
- Connect the audio player using the LINE IN cable to the LINE IN socket on the rear of the unit and to the headphone socket of the audio player.
- Press the LINE IN button to select the LINE IN source.
- Start playing music on the audio player.
Listening to FM Radio
Tuning in a Station:
- Press the FM button to select the FM source.
- Press and hold ◄◄ / ►►►►► buttons to automatically scan for stations.
- Press ◄◄ / ►►►►► buttons repeatedly to manually tune to a desired station.
Presetting Stations:
You can preset up to 20 FM stations.
Program Radio Stations Automatically:
Press and hold the PROG button for 2 seconds to activate automatic programming. Stations are programmed based on reception strength.
Program Radio Stations Manually:
- Tune to the desired station and press PROG.
- Use ▲/▼ buttons to select a preset number.
- Press PROG to store the station.
- Repeat for other stations.
Note: Preset stations are lost if the system is unplugged or experiences a power failure without battery backup.
Tune to a Preset Radio Station:
Press the ▲ or ▼ buttons to select the desired preset number.

Troubleshooting Guide
- No power: Ensure AC cord is connected, outlet has power, and the unit is turned on.
- Remote control does not work: Check source selection, reduce distance, ensure correct battery polarity, replace battery, and aim remote at the unit's sensor.
- No Response From the Unit: Disconnect and reconnect the AC power plug.
- Poor radio reception: Increase distance from TV/VCR, extend FM antenna, or use an outdoor antenna.
- Timer does not work: Ensure clock is set correctly and the timer is switched on.
- Clock/timer setting erased: Power was interrupted. Reset the clock/timer.
- Using iPhone to play music: Incoming calls may cause interference.

Additional Warnings:
- Do not expose the apparatus to dripping or splashing. Do not place liquid-filled objects on it.
- The main plug is the disconnect device; ensure it is readily operable.
- Do not expose batteries to excessive heat.

Recycle waste electrical goods to help the environment. This symbol indicates products should not be disposed of with household waste; use a suitable disposal facility.
