Important Safety Notices
Read Carefully Before Beginning Assembly!
- Always use proper tools.
- Follow the assembly steps in order. Do not skip any steps.
- Be sure to check all packing materials carefully for small parts that may have come loose inside the carton during shipment. If parts are missing, contact the retailer from which you purchased the product to obtain any missing parts. DO NOT USE SUBSTITUTE PARTS.
- Periodically check to ensure that all connectors (bolts, screws, etc.) are tight.
- Keep the instructions for future reference.
- Some assembly may involve attaching glass or mirrors. Be very careful handling the glass or mirrors, as severe injury may result if the glass or mirror breaks. Never handle large pieces of glass or mirrors by yourself.
- When assembling products that have electric cords (lamps, light, etc.), always (1) make sure the electrical cord is unplugged before assembly and (2) be careful not to twist the electrical cord during assembly.
- When assembling shelves or entertainment centers, do not stand on lower shelves in order to assemble upper shelves - use a step ladder.
- Do not stand on tables, including but not limited to, end tables, coffee tables, and dinner tables, as tables are not to support the weight of a person.
- Where assembly instructions state that the assembly requires two or more people, do not attempt by yourself as there is a risk of injury.

Assembly Instructions
Step 1
Note: Unit should be assembled by two or more people. Do not tighten any bolts until all bolts have been started!
Attach side panels (A, C) to the back panel (D). Use hardware J (screws) and H (washers). The Allen wrench (K) is used for tightening. A magnified inset shows a close-up of the connection, illustrating how screw J and washer H are inserted through holes in panel A and into corresponding holes in panel D. The instruction 'X4' indicates that this connection is repeated four times.
Step 2
Assemble the main frame structure. Connect part B to the assembled side panels using hardware G (screws) and H (washers). The Allen wrench (K) is used for tightening. A magnified inset shows a close-up of the connection. The instruction 'X5' indicates five such connections, and 'X4' indicates four such connections.
Step 3
Install the drawer units (E) into the frame. Use hardware C (screws) and a screwdriver. The instruction 'X8' indicates eight such connections.
Step 4
Attach the headboard panel (AE) to the main frame. This step involves connecting panel AE to the side supports.
Step 5
Attach drawer slide brackets (R) to the frame. Use hardware S (screws) and the 5/16" tool (AD). A magnified inset shows a close-up of the connection. The instruction 'X4' indicates four such connections.
Step 6
Assemble the top support rails (AH). Attach them to the side panels using hardware K (Allen wrench), AM (screws), AL (washers), and AK (screws). Magnified insets show the connection points. The instruction 'X5' indicates five connections, and 'X2' indicates two connections.
Step 7
Attach side support rails (AF). Use hardware K (Allen wrench), AN (screws), AL (washers), and AK (screws). Magnified insets show the connection points. The instruction 'X5' indicates five connections, and 'X2' indicates two connections.
Step 8
Install the center support beam (N). Use hardware K (Allen wrench), W (screws), U (washers), and T (screws). A magnified inset shows the connection. The instruction 'X2' indicates two such connections.
Step 9
Attach the support legs (Y) to the bed frame. Use hardware Z (screws) and the 5/16" tool (AD). A magnified inset shows the connection. The instruction 'X1' indicates one connection. Also, attach the slat roll (M) using hardware Y (support legs) and the 5/16" tool (AD). The instruction 'X6' indicates six such connections.
Step 10
Adjust the levelers on the bottom of the Cross-Slat Support Legs. Ensure there is a 6mm (approximately 1/4 inch) space between the leveler and the floor. This is shown in two steps, Step 1 and Step 2, illustrating the adjustment process.
Step 11
Install the drawer fronts (P, AG) into the assembled frame. This step involves sliding the drawer fronts into place.
Step 12A (For models -98 & -99)
Attach drawer slide brackets (R) to the frame using hardware AA (screws). A magnified inset shows the connection. The instruction 'X26' indicates twenty-six such connections, and 'X4' indicates four such connections.
Step 12B (For model -95)
Attach drawer slide brackets (R) to the frame using hardware AA (screws). A magnified inset shows the connection. The instruction 'X4' indicates four such connections.
Step 13
Note: Always disassemble the bed prior to moving to a new location.
