Product Overview
This document provides instructions for the 8BitDo N30 Pro 2 Bluetooth gamepad.

Connection Instructions
Nintendo Switch
- Press and hold the 'Y' and 'start' buttons to turn on the controller. The LEDs will blink four times per cycle.
- Press and hold the 'pair' button for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode. The blue LEDs will blink rapidly.
- On your Switch console, navigate to 'Controllers' > 'Change Grip/Order'. The LEDs will enter a breathing mode upon successful connection.
- The controller will automatically reconnect to your Switch by pressing the 'start' button after initial pairing.
Note: The 'star' button functions as the Switch's Screenshot button. The 'home' button functions as the Switch's HOME button.
Android (D-input)
- Press and hold the 'B' and 'start' buttons to turn on the controller. The blue LEDs will blink once per cycle.
- Press and hold the 'pair' button for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode. The blue LEDs will blink rapidly.
- On your Android device, go to Bluetooth settings, search for '[8BitDo N30 Pro 2]', and connect. The LEDs will enter a breathing mode upon successful connection.
- The controller will automatically reconnect to your Android device by pressing the 'start' button after initial pairing.
- For USB wired connection, connect the controller to your Android device via USB cable after step 1.
Windows (X-input)
- Press and hold the 'X' and 'start' buttons to turn on the controller. The LEDs will blink twice per cycle.
- Press and hold the 'pair' button for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode. The blue LEDs will blink rapidly.
- On your Windows device, go to Bluetooth settings, search for '[8BitDo N30 Pro 2]', and connect. The LEDs will enter a breathing mode upon successful connection.
- The controller will automatically reconnect to your Windows device by pressing the 'start' button after initial pairing.
- For USB wired connection, connect the controller to your Windows device via USB cable after step 1.
macOS
- Press and hold the 'A' and 'start' buttons to turn on the controller. The LEDs will blink three times per cycle.
- Press and hold the 'pair' button for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode. The blue LEDs will blink rapidly.
- On your macOS device, go to Bluetooth settings, search for '[Wireless Controller]', and connect. The LEDs will enter a breathing mode upon successful connection.
- The controller will automatically reconnect to your macOS device by pressing the 'start' button after initial pairing.
- For USB wired connection, connect the controller to your macOS device via USB cable after step 1.
Turbo Function
- To activate or deactivate turbo functionality for a button: Hold the desired button and then press the 'star' button.
Note: Turbo functionality does not apply to analog sticks or the d-pad. This feature is not available when connected to Switch.

Battery Details:
- Built-in 480 mAh Li-on battery.
- Provides approximately 18 hours of playtime.
- Rechargeable via USB cable with a charging time of 1-2 hours.
Power Saving
The controller will automatically power off:
- 1 minute after being turned on with no Bluetooth connection.
- 15 minutes after a Bluetooth connection is established but with no user input.
The controller remains powered on and connected when using a wired USB connection.
