What You Need (Not Provided)
A standard Phillips screwdriver is required. The included screws are Phillips head.
Step 1: Prepare the Door
- Remove the existing lock.
- Verify your door has the necessary holes. If not, use the provided template to drill holes. Key dimensions to check include:
- Backset: 2⅜ in / 60 mm or 2¾ in / 70 mm
- Cross Bore Diameter: 1 ½ in / 38 mm or 2⅛ in / 54 mm
- Door Thickness: 1⅜ in - 2⅛ in / 35 mm - 55 mm
- Door Hole Diameter: 1 in / 25.4 mm
- Minimum Distance: 1¾ in / 45 mm (from door edge to cross bore center)
Note: The Video Smart Lock E330 is not compatible with storm doors, and storm doors may obstruct the camera view on standard entry doors.
Step 2: Install the Deadbolt
- Check if the deadbolt requires adjustment based on your door's backset.
- If the backset is 70 mm, rotate the deadbolt faceplate 180° to extend its length.
- Insert the deadbolt into the doorframe, ensuring the "TOP" marking faces upwards and the T-shaped hub is centered.
- Install the faceplate: use the included faceplate if the latch hole is rectangular. If the latch hole is round, contact eufy Support for a round drive-in faceplate.
Step 3: Install Exterior Keypad
- Measure the diameter of the cross bore.
- If the diameter is 54 mm, install the keypad directly.
- If the diameter is 38 mm, remove the spacer from the keypad before installation.
Step 4: Install Interior Assembly
- Detach the mounting plate and battery cover from the interior assembly.
- Run the cables underneath the deadbolt. Ensure the silicone pad is against the door.
- Align the mounting plate with the threaded screw receptacles of the exterior keypad.
- Fasten the screws securely. It is recommended to start by hand, then use a screwdriver.
- Connect the power cable (large connector) and then the radar cable (small connector) to the sockets on the back of the interior assembly. Route the cables around the tailpiece receiver to prevent pinching. To disconnect the radar cable, gently pull the tab.
- Insert the T-shaped tailpiece of the exterior keypad into the T-shaped tailpiece receiver of the interior assembly. Ensure both wires are tucked into the cavity on the back of the interior assembly.
- Verify the deadbolt is retracted and the thumbturn knob is in the 'unlock' position. Check that the deadbolt moves correctly by turning the thumbturn.
- Insert the rechargeable battery into the battery compartment. Use a long screwdriver to fasten the interior assembly screws. Insert the silicone plug into the hole below the thumbturn.
Step 5: Install Strike Plate
- Ensure the depth of the strike hole in the door frame is at least 1 in (25.4 mm). Failure to do so may cause calibration issues or improper lock function.
- Install the strike plate using the strike screws.
Opening and Closing the Lock Cylinder Cover
To open the cover, gently pull the bottom of the cover and rotate it counterclockwise.
To close the cover, turn it clockwise and slide it back into place.

Plug the doorbell chime into a wall outlet at your desired location.
