Use of the Sealing Plug
The OB3000 sealing plug is compatible with wire stripper models with reference WS440-A. It is highly recommended for preventing undesirable flux vapors or particles from entering the tool.
Caution: If the sealing plug is not used, it may lead to incorrect cartridge contact and render the tool unusable.
Important: Periodically check the condition of the sealing plug and replace it as soon as wear or cracking is detected.
Replacing Sealing Plugs
Before replacing the sealing plug: Unplug the power supply and ensure the tool and cartridges are not hot.
Removing Sealing Plug
Introduce a small shaft or screwdriver, not deeper than 8 mm, into the tool. Lift and pull the worn sealing plug out. Never use a cartridge to perform this operation.
Mounting Position
Note: To insert the new sealing plug, the chamfered side must be positioned towards the tool.
Inserting Sealing Plug
