Important Safety Information

WARNING! When the bed base is in the fully raised position, the safety lock is disengaged.

This warning is provided in multiple languages:

• German: ACHTUNG! Sobald der Bettboden in die Höchststellung gebracht wird, setzt der Sicherheitsmechanismus aus.
• French: MISE EN GARDE : Avec le sommier en position supérieure, le dispositif de sécurité est désenclenché.
• Dutch: WAARSCHUWING! Wanneer je de bedbodem optilt en deze in de hoogste stand staat, is het veiligheidsslot niet ingeschakeld.
• Danish: ADVARSEL! Når sengebunden er placeret i sit højeste leje slipper sikkerhedslåsen.
• Norwegian: ADVARSEL! Når sengebunnen er plasert i høyeste stilling, kobles sikkerhetslåsen ut.
• Finnish: VAROITUS! Kun sängyn pohja on yläasennossa, turvalukitus aukeaa.
• Swedish: VARNING! När sängbottnen är placerad i sitt högsta läge släpper säkerhetslåset.
• Czech: UPOZORNĚNÍ! Je-li rošt postele v nejvyšší poloze, je bezpečnostní pojistka nefunkční.

Note: Do not use a hammer to strike screws.

Assembly Steps

1. Step 1: Attach the side panels to the base frame using screws (100215) and (100211). Ensure correct orientation as shown in the diagram.
2. Step 2: Connect the front and back panels to the assembled sides using screws (100211).
3. Step 3: Secure the remaining side connections with screws (100215).
4. Step 4: Attach the support beams across the base using screws (100215). There are 6 sets of screws for this step.
5. Step 5: Attach the corner supports using screws and the provided bracket. There are 4 sets of screws.
6. Step 6: Place the mattress slats onto the frame. Secure the slats using screws (108904). There are 18 screws for this step.
7. Step 7: Attach the mounting brackets (123447) to the frame using screws (100092) and (114649). There are 2 sets of screws.
8. Step 8: Attach the lifting mechanism components. Use screws (105103), washers (106782), and nuts (100831) as shown.
9. Step 9: Drape the fabric cover over the base frame. Ensure it is fitted snugly.
10. Step 10: Secure the fabric cover using screws (114558) and (100349). There are 2 sets of screws.
11. Step 11: Attach the gas spring components. Use parts (100654) and (100014) as shown. There are 8 sets.
12. Step 12: Assemble the lifting arms. Connect the arms using screws and the provided connectors.
13. Step 13: Attach the lifting arms to the frame using screws.
14. Step 14: Continue assembling the lifting mechanism, ensuring all connections are secure.
15. Step 15: Attach the final components of the lifting mechanism.
16. Step 16: Secure the lifting mechanism to the frame using screws (114559) and (112955). There are 2 sets of screws.
17. Step 17: Connect the gas springs to the frame and the lifting arms using screws (105100) and (114650). There are 2 sets.
18. Step 18: Finalize the attachment of the lifting mechanism components.
19. Step 19: Place the mattress support slats and secure them with screws (108188). Use 16x or 17x screws.
20. Step 20: Secure the remaining mattress support slats with screws (108188). Use 32x or 34x screws.

Operation

The divan base is designed to lift for access to storage. Follow the diagrams to operate the lifting mechanism safely.

Caution: Ensure no one is in the bed when operating the lifting mechanism. Keep hands and fingers clear of moving parts.
