Installation Precautions
- Ensure the installation location can support at least 4 times the total weight of the Wall&Pole Mount and the camera.
- Each anchor bolt must be capable of withstanding an extraction force of 700 kg.
- When installing the product outdoors, use interlocking devices made of stainless steel.
- The Wall&Pole Mount can be installed on a wall or a round pillar with a minimum diameter of 60 mm.
Installation
Step 1: Prepare the Mount
- Peel off the 5 adhesive tapes securing the Wall&Pole Mount.
- Detach the top cover of the Wall&Pole Mount.
- Detach the mount plate from the bottom cover of the Wall&Pole Mount.
Mounting Options
When installing on a wall
- Install Mount Plate: Mount the plate on a wall using the 4 included hexagon socket head screws. Mark and drill 4 holes, then insert the screws. Ensure the side engraved with 'TOP (POLE)' faces the wall. Install so the arrow on the opposite side, engraved with 'TOP (WALL)', points upward.
- Insert Network Cable: Pass the network cable through the mount plate. Note: Depending on installation conditions, this product can connect to a 0.75" PF pipe, which is a screw-peak processed pipe. Three directions are available for pipe insertion.
- Attach Mount Plate to Bottom Cover: Secure the mount plate to the bottom cover of the Wall&Pole Mount using the included driver bit.
- Join Top Cover: Attach the top cover to the Wall&Pole Mount.
When installing on a round pillar
- Select Pole and Height: Choose a pole for installation and confirm the desired height.
- Secure Mount Plate: Use the Stainless Steel Mounting Strap (optional accessory SBP-100S) to secure the Mount Plate to the pole. Ensure the side engraved with 'TOP (WALL)' faces the round pillar. Install so the arrow on the opposite side, engraved with 'TOP (POLE)', points upward.
- Insert Network Cable: Pass the network cable through the Mount Plate.
Step 5: Attach Camera to Mount
- After aligning the installation direction guides of the camera and the Wall&Pole Mount, push the main cover upward and turn it counterclockwise until it is secured.
- Install the camera according to the specific camera's installation guide.
