Product Overview

The Hytera PNC360S is a Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) radio designed for efficient communication. The device features a strap hole, PTT key, volume keys, LED indicator, LCD display, microphone, audio jack, USB Type-C port, back key, power on/off key, OK/Menu key, answer key, navigation key, speaker, and a battery cover.

Before Use

Installing the Nano SIM Card

To install the Nano SIM card:

  1. Remove the battery cover using a proper tool. The battery cover is tightly fastened for optimal waterproof performance. Do not remove it by force.
  2. Open the SIM card slot cover.
  3. Install the SIM card.
  4. Replace the card slot cover.

Attaching the Battery

CAUTION: Use the approved battery to avoid the risk of explosion. Dispose of used batteries according to the "Precautions for Disposal" in the Safety Information Booklet.

Attach the battery as shown in the diagram, then reattach the battery cover.

Attaching the Belt Clip

Attach the belt clip to the device as illustrated.

Attaching the Audio Accessory

Open the audio jack cover and insert the audio accessory into the jack. To maintain waterproof and dustproof performance, ensure the audio jack cover is closed after disconnecting the accessory.

Charging the Battery

CAUTION: Use the approved charger. Read the Safety Information Booklet before charging. The initial battery charge is limited to 30% as per IATA regulations.

Before initial use, charge the battery by connecting the product to a power adapter, power bank, or computer using the USB cable. The charging status can be monitored via the battery icon on the LCD display. To ensure optimal waterproof and dustproof performance, close the USB Type-C port cover after charging.

Basic Operations

Turning on/off the Product

Press and hold the power button for two seconds to turn the product on. To turn it off, press and hold the power button for two seconds, then select "Power off" from the menu.

Adjusting the Volume

Press the Volume + key to increase the volume and the Volume - key to decrease it.

Locking/Unlocking the Screen

To lock the screen, navigate to Settings > Screen locked. The screen will automatically lock after a period of inactivity. To unlock, press the OK key and then the $\boldsymbol{\square}$ key.

Connecting to the Network

Install a Nano SIM card and activate cellular data service to connect to the cellular network.

Checking the Device Information

View device information such as model, serial number, and version by navigating to Settings > About phone.

PoC Services

The PNC360S supports Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) services, enabling one-to-one or one-to-many voice calls over the public network.

Battery Caution CAUTION: Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type. The device has been tested and complies with SAR limits. Users can obtain Canadian information on RF exposure and compliance. SAR tests are conducted using standard operating positions accepted by the FCC/ISEDC with the device transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands, although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR level of the device while operating can be well below the maximum value. Before a new model device is available for sale to the public, it must be tested and certified to the FCC/ISEDC that it does not exceed the exposure limit established by the FCC/ISEDC. Tests for each device are performed in positions and locations (worn on the body) as required by the FCC/ISEDC. For face-up, 25 mm was used for test; this equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 25 mm. For body worn operation, this device has been tested and meets the FCC/ISEDC RF exposure guidelines when used with an accessory designated for this product or when used with an accessory that contains no metal and that positions the handset a minimum of 10 mm from the body. Non-compliance with the above restrictions may result in violation of RF exposure guidelines.
