IKEA UTRUSTA Pull-Out Cabinet Accessory

This guide details the assembly and installation of the IKEA UTRUSTA pull-out cabinet accessory, designed to enhance kitchen corner storage.

Assembly and Installation

Follow these steps for a successful installation. Ensure you have a screwdriver ?.

  1. Prepare Cabinet and Attach Mounting Brackets

    Place the cabinet on a soft surface to prevent damage. Attach the 4 mounting brackets (10127304) to the inside walls of the cabinet using 8x screws (100325). The brackets are adjustable, indicated by numbers 12 through 18 on detailed diagrams.

    Pages 2, 5, 6, and 13 illustrate general preparation, part identification, and the attachment of mounting brackets with screws.

  2. Install Cabinet Rails

    Attach the cabinet rails to the previously installed mounting brackets. These rails will support and guide the pull-out mechanism. Arrows in diagrams show the correct insertion method.

    Pages 7 and 14 show the process of attaching rails to the cabinet interior.

  3. Assemble Pull-Out Baskets

    Assemble the two main pull-out basket structures. Use 12x screws (10124259) to connect the components of each basket.

    Pages 8 and 15 depict the assembly of the basket units using screws.

  4. Connect Basket Sections and Secure

    Join the assembled basket sections using the 4x connectors (10127257). Ensure all basket elements are securely fastened.

    Pages 9 and 16 illustrate the use of connectors and the final securing of basket parts.

  5. Attach Baskets to Cabinet Rails

    Align the assembled pull-out baskets with the cabinet rails. Secure the baskets to the rails using 12x screws (10126361).

    Pages 10 and 17 show the baskets being attached to the cabinet rails with screws.

  6. Install and Secure the Pull-Out Unit

    Carefully slide the complete pull-out unit into the cabinet, ensuring it engages smoothly with the rails. The unit is designed for cabinets with a 95° door opening.

    Pages 4, 11, 12, 18, and 19 show the final insertion and securing of the pull-out unit into the cabinet.

  7. Final Check and Load Capacity

    Verify that the pull-out mechanism operates correctly. Each UTRUSTA pull-out unit has a maximum load capacity of 44 lb (20 kg).

    Page 20 shows two installed units and specifies the maximum weight capacity.
