Control4 MyHome App - Installation and Setting on new devices

iOS

Step 1

If you are using an iOS device, please download and install "Control4 MyHome" from the App Store. (Below is an example of iOS7.0. Different iOS versions may have different interfaces.)

Step 2

After downloading and installation, please connect your mobile/tablet to the same ? source used by the Control4 system.

Step 3

After opening the app, click "[Connect Now]", then click "▶️".

Step 4

Enter customized system name, valid email and password (refer to reminder) in "Add system", then press "▶️" to finish adding new device.

Android

Step 1

If you are using an Android device, please download and install "Control4 MyHome" from Google Play Store. (Below is the example of Android 4.3. Different Android versions may have different interfaces.)

Step 2

After download and installation, please connect your mobile/tablet to the same ? source used by the Control4 system.

Step 3

After opening the app, click "[Connect Now]".

Step 4

Then click "▶️" to "Add System".

Step 5

Control4 MyHome User Interface

Homepage

Homepage includes control of different electronic devices*:

1. Watch (?): According to your preference, choose different channels or control the connected TV, Blu-ray and now TV, if applicable.

2. Listen (?): Play music from the connected music library.

3. Security (?): Control connected IP camera.

Instructions:

After installing Cisco SC Residence, click "Security", then "IP Camera".

Step 2

Choose the connected "IP camera".

Step 3

The "IP camera" monitoring page will be displayed.

Step 4

Now, you can control the IP camera [up/down/left/right/zoom/focus (depending on IP camera model and functions)].

4. Lighting (?): Turn on/off or dimming.* (100% = bright, 0% = dark, if applicable)

5. Comfort (?): Open/close curtains.*

iOS Instructions:

Select "Comfort", then select "Comfort Controls" and press "Blinds" to control curtains.

Android Instructions:

Step 1

Select "More" on home screen, then select "Motors/Sensors".

Select "Blind" to control curtain.

6. More (⚙️): Change related system settings.

7. Master scenes (✨): Select pre-programmed scene in master scenes.

8. Scenes (✨): Select pre-programmed scenes in the designated room.

9. Air-con (❄️): Turn air conditioning on/off.*

Change Control4 MyHome Password

Step 1

Enter https://customer.control4.com in a browser.

Use existing account and password to login.

Click "[My Account]" to enter the account information page.

Step 4

Select "[My Profile]", then press "✏️" to change your login email address and password.

Step 5

Change the login email address and password, then press "✔️".
