Thank you for choosing BOYA! The BOYA BY-PM700/BY-PM700G/BY-PM700R is a USB condenser microphone compatible with Windows and Mac Computers. It offers omni-directional, Cardioid, Stereo, and bi-directional pickup modes, suitable for various situations like recording, interviews, conference calls, vocals, instruments, and podcasting.
This microphone captures audio in up to 16-bit/48 kHz resolution and features gain control, a mute button, and a zero-latency headphone output. Its durable all-metal construction includes a desk stand that allows for adjusting the microphone to various angles, and it can be folded down for storage and transport.

How to Use
- Unlock the screws on both sides counterclockwise.
- Adjust the microphone to your desired angle and tighten the screws to fix it.
- Connect the microphone to your computer using the supplied cable.
- Connect your headphones to the BY-PM700/BY-PM700G/BY-PM700R via the 3.5mm headphone output if needed.
Setup for Android Devices
- Use the supplied Type-C cable to connect the microphone.
- Plug the Type-C connector into your Android device.
- The microphone's indicator will stay green when you open a video/recording app from your smartphone.
- Start recording.
Note: Not all Android devices support external microphones for video recording. You may need to download a third-party app and set the sound source to the external microphone.
Setup for Windows 10
- Connect the microphone to your computer using a USB port with the supplied Type-C to USB-A cable.
- Go to "Settings", then choose "Sound".
- Select "Speaker BY-PM700/BY-PM700G/BY-PM700R" as the Output device.
- Select "Microphone BY-PM700/BY-PM700G/BY-PM700R" as the Input device.
Setup for Windows 7
- Connect the microphone to your computer using the supplied Type-C to USB-A cable.
- From the "Setting Menu", select the "Control Panel".
- Go to "Control Panel", select "Hardware and Sound".
- Select "Sound".
- In the "Sound" window, under the "Playback" menu, select "Speaker BY-PM700/BY-PM700G/BY-PM700R" as the default device.
- In the "Sound" window, under the "Recording" menu, select "Microphone BY-PM700/BY-PM700G/BY-PM700R" as the default device.
Setup for Apple System
- Connect the microphone to your computer using the supplied Type-C to USB-A cable.
- Go to the Apple Icon > System Preferences > Sound Icon.
- Under the "Input" tab, select "BY-PM700/BY-PM700G/BY-PM700R".
- Under the "Output" tab, select "BY-PM700/BY-PM700G/BY-PM700R".
Important Information
- If you do not intend to use the microphone for an extended period, please disconnect the cable.
- Avoid touching the microphone while recording, as this can cause unwanted noise.
- Do not place the microphone near high-voltage equipment or devices emitting strong electromagnetic fields, as this may result in recorded noise.
- Do not use or store the microphone in hot or humid conditions.
Maintenance
- Do not operate the device with wet hands or feet.
- Clean the equipment only as described in these instructions.
