EFFICIENCY
SEER2 (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) ratings are like your car's MPG – the higher the number, the greater the potential for savings. Carrier fan coils are designed to maximize the performance of a matched Carrier air conditioner or heat pump, and many can boost published cooling efficiency (SEER2) for even greater savings.
DURABILITY
For enhanced protection of the indoor coil from premature damage due to corrosive airborne elements, Carrier offers ArmorTech™ coil protection on certain fan coil models.
HUMIDITY MANAGEMENT
When installed with a humidity-sensing thermostat and matched outdoor unit, Carrier fan coils can provide added comfort and efficiency through humidity management during the cooling season. Matching an Infinity fan coil with an Infinity system control, humidifier, and appropriate outdoor unit enables Ideal Humidity System™ technology for ideal comfort all year long.
ENVIRONMENT
With Puron Advance™, Carrier continues its century-plus commitment to environmental stewardship. This refrigerant delivers a 75% decrease in global warming potential while maintaining original Puron's non-ozone depleting properties. All new Carrier products with Puron Advance include factory-installed leak dissipation systems to meet new UL requirements and demonstrate a commitment to safety.
LIMITED WARRANTY
To the original owner, Carrier fan coils are covered by a 10-year parts limited warranty upon timely registration. The limited warranty period is five years if not registered within 90 days of installation, except in jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned upon registration. At Carrier, purchasing a new heating or cooling system is a big investment. Take ownership in helping protect your investment. Carrier offers a Consumer Choice Warranty option. Most Carrier products come with the option to select the warranty of your choice. Dealer participation is required.*
The Carrier Difference
A Carrier fan coil is a core component of your comfort system. Carrier fan coils feature ECM blower motors for optimized airflow, comfort, and efficiency. Infinity and Performance models offer variable-speed air delivery for extra efficiency, quieter operation, and consistent indoor temperatures.
For lasting durability, the indoor coil includes Carrier's high-tech composite base pan with an integrated, sloped drain. The base pan promotes positive drainage to help reduce opportunities for growth of airborne irritants. The thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) maintains proper refrigerant flow as pressure and conditions change, ensuring maximum reliability and energy-efficient operation.

¹ The Infinity® air purifier has demonstrated effectiveness against the murine coronavirus, based on third-party testing (2020) showing a >99% inactivation, which is a virus similar to the human novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) that causes COVID-19. Therefore, the Infinity air purifier can be expected to be effective against SARS-CoV-2 when used in accordance with its directions for use. Third-party testing (2012, 2007) also shows ≥99% inactivation for the type of virus that causes common colds, Streptococcus pyogenes and human influenza.
