Installation
Step 1: Mounting the Base Plate
Remove the flat screw (J) from the ceiling metal panels (H). Attach the fixed metal plate (C) to the outlet box using the mounting screws (J). Ensure the side marked "GND" faces outwards. Step 2: Preparing the Wires
Cut the length of the wire as needed. Ensure the remaining wire measures at least 6 inches (6") from the top of the ceiling metal panels (H). [Diagram: Shows electrical wires with approximately 1/2 inch of exposed wire at the ends, indicating proper stripping.]
Step 3: Connecting the Wires
Connect the wires carefully, differentiating between positive, negative, and ground points. Connect positive to positive, negative to negative, and ground to ground. [Diagram: Illustrates wire connections: white wire to white wire (neutral), black wire to black wire (hot), and green/bare copper wire to ground screw.]
Step 4: Attaching Loops
Install two loops (K) onto the ceiling metal plates (H) securely. [Diagram: Shows two loops (K) being attached to the ceiling metal panels (H).]
Step 5: Securing the Fixture
Screw the ceiling metal panel (H) onto the fixed metal plate (C) using the four flat screws (I) tightly. [Diagram: Shows the ceiling metal panel (H) being attached to the fixed metal plate (C) with flat screws (I).]
Step 6: Attaching the Shade
Screw the rods (M) onto the shade (N). Tighten the rods by the loops (K). [Diagram: Shows screw rods (M) being attached to the shade (N) and secured by loops (K).]
Step 7: Final Shade Attachment
Screw the rods (M) onto the shade (N) again, and tighten the rods by the loops (K). [Diagram: Repeats the process of attaching screw rods (M) to the shade (N) and securing with loops (K).]
Step 8: Installing Bulbs
Install bulbs. (Bulbs not included). [Diagram: Shows light bulb sockets within the chandelier frame.]
Note: The chandelier can be used as a ceiling lamp without the chain (L). [Diagram: Shows the chandelier installed without the chain, appearing as a semi-flush mount fixture.]
