Buttons and Ports Description
This section describes the physical controls and ports on the speaker.
Top Panel Controls:
- Mode Button (M): Switches between modes (BT, FM, USB, mSD) and changes LED colors.
- Volume Down / Previous Track Button (➖ ◀️): Short press to decrease volume. Long press for the previous track.
- Volume Up / Next Track Button (➕ ▶️): Short press to increase volume. Long press for the next track.
- Play/Pause / Call Button (▶️||): Short press to play/pause music. During calls, short press to answer/end. Long press to reject calls. Double press to redial the last dialed number.
Bottom Panel Ports & Switches:
- USB Port: For connecting USB flash drives.
- mSD Card Slot: For inserting Micro SD cards.
- Charging Indicator: An LED that shows charging status.
- Type C Charging Port (DC 5V): For charging the speaker.
- Power Switch (ON/OFF): A slider to turn the speaker on or off.
Instructions for Use
Button Functions:
- Power: Move the slider to the left to turn ON, to the right to turn OFF.
- Mode Button (M):
- Single press: Switch modes (BT/FM/USB/mSD).
- Short press: Change LED Colors.
- Volume Down / Previous Track Button (◀️➖):
- Single press: Decrease volume.
- Short press: Go to Previous Track.
- Volume Up / Next Track Button (▶️➕):
- Single press: Increase volume.
- Short press: Go to Next Track.
- Play/Pause / Call Button (▶️||):
- Single press: Play/Pause music.
- Short press: Initiate FM Scanning Function.
- Short Press: Activate TWS Functions.
- During Calls: Single press to Answer/End calls. Long press to reject calls. Double press to redial the last dialed number.
BT Mode:
Turn ON the speaker, press the "M" button to switch to BT Mode. On your phone or tablet, switch ON Bluetooth and search for nearby BT devices. Select the BT name "ZEB-COUNTY 8" and tap to connect.
Operating Modes
FM Mode:
Press the M button to select FM mode. Single press the ▶️|| button to initiate FM Scanning process. Once scanning is complete, the speaker will play the first FM channel.
Note: Use the charging cable as an external antenna for better channel reception.
USB Mode:
The speaker automatically switches to USB input mode when a USB flash drive is inserted. Audio from the USB source will play through the speaker. This mode is only selectable when a USB drive is connected.
Micro SD Mode:
The speaker automatically switches to mSD input mode when an mSD Card is inserted. Audio from the mSD source will play through the speaker. This mode is only selectable when an mSD card is inserted.
Call Function:
- Single Press the ▶️|| Button: Answer/End calls.
- Long Press the ▶️|| Button: Reject calls.
- Double Press the ▶️|| Button: Redial the last dialed number.
Advanced Features
TWS Function:
- Turn on two ZEB-COUNTY 8 speakers.
- Long press the ▶️|| button on one speaker for a few seconds to activate TWS function.
- After a few seconds, you will hear a TWS connected notification from the speakers when they are connected successfully.
- Now, search for nearby BT devices on your mobile and tap on the BT name "ZEB-COUNTY 8" to pair the speaker.
Note: Requires two Zebronics ZEB-COUNTY 8 speakers for TWS feature.
LED Light Control:
Short press the “M” Button to turn the LED On/Off.
Charging Instructions
Connect one end of the power cable to the speaker and the other end to a rated DC 5V adapter. The speaker shows a constant Red LED indication while charging. The Indicator turns off when the speaker is completely charged.
