User Guide of Power Supply
The dash cam uses the car cigarette lighter for power. Use the original car charger and power cord for a stable supply. The manufacturer is not liable for issues caused by using non-original power supplies or chargers.
Some vehicles supply power to the cigarette lighter even when the engine is off. Prolonged dash cam operation in such cases can drain the vehicle battery. If parking monitor is not enabled, manually turn off the dash cam or disconnect the charger after stalling the vehicle. You will need to manually turn it on the next time the vehicle starts. The manufacturer is not liable for issues caused by failure to turn off the dash cam manually.
For vehicles that supply power to the cigarette lighter after the engine is shut off, if the parking surveillance function is enabled and the vehicle will be parked for a long time, disconnect the car charger to prevent unnecessary battery drain.
Instructions for Use of Micro SD Card
A Micro SD card is not included and must be purchased separately. The dash cam supports standard Micro SD cards, preferably 16GB-128GB with a Class 10 data rate or above.
- Insert an appropriate Micro SD card before using the dash cam.
- Format the Micro SD card in the dash cam upon first use. This will delete all files; back up important data beforehand.
- To maintain reading/writing speed, format the Micro SD card monthly.
- Repeated overwriting may damage the Micro SD card or reduce its speed, affecting video/image saving. Replace the card if this occurs. The manufacturer is not liable for malfunctions caused by the Micro SD card.
- Use a reputable, high-quality Micro SD card. Inferior cards may have discrepancies in speed and capacity. The manufacturer is not liable for video loss or damage caused by low-quality cards.
- Do not insert or remove the Micro SD card while the dash cam is turned on to prevent damage to recorded video or the card.
