- Hotspot Name: KAWA_MINI 3_XXXX (or as indicated on the product label). Default Password: 12345678
- Your phone must be running Android 5.0 or iOS 8.0 and above to connect to the dash cam's hotspot.
- If VPN is enabled, please disable it before connecting to the car camera.
Power Usage Guidelines
- The dash cam uses the car's cigarette lighter socket for power. Use the original charger and power cord for stable power supply. The manufacturer is not responsible for damages resulting from the use of non-original power sources or chargers.
- In some vehicles, the cigarette lighter socket remains powered after the engine is turned off. Prolonged use of the dash cam can drain the car battery. If the parking monitoring function is not enabled, manually turn off the dash cam or disconnect the charger after stopping the car. The dash cam must be manually turned on after the next car start. The manufacturer is not liable for losses if the dash cam is not manually turned off.
- For vehicles where the cigarette lighter socket is powered after the engine is off, if the parking monitoring function is enabled and the car will be parked for an extended period, disconnect the charger from the car to prevent unnecessary battery drain.
Micro SD Card Usage Instructions
- Micro SD cards are not included and must be purchased separately.
- The dash cam supports standard Micro SD cards. Use Micro SD cards from 16GB to 128GB with a transfer speed of Class 10 or higher.
- Insert the Micro SD card before using the dash cam.
- The default file segmentation format for Micro SD cards may differ from the dash cam's format. Format the Micro SD card in the dash cam upon first use. All files on the Micro SD card will be deleted. Back up important data to another device beforehand.
- To prevent a decrease in read/write speed after prolonged storage, it is recommended to format the Micro SD card in the dash cam once a month.
- Constant overwriting may lead to Micro SD card failure or reduced write speed, affecting video and image saving functions. Replace the Micro SD card immediately if this occurs. The manufacturer is not responsible for failures due to Micro SD card malfunction.
- Use Micro SD cards from reputable manufacturers. Low-quality cards may have discrepancies between actual and nominal read/write speeds, as well as actual and nominal memory capacity. The manufacturer is not responsible for data loss or corruption due to low-quality Micro SD cards.
- To avoid damage to recorded videos and the Micro SD card, do not insert or remove the card while the dash cam is powered on.
