- To add the dash cam, your phone must connect to the dash cam's hotspot (ensure the hotspot is turned on), not another phone's hotspot or your home WiFi.
- Hotspot Name: KAWA_MINI 3_XXXX (or as indicated on the product label)
- Initial Password: 12345678
- Your phone's operating system should be Android 5.0 or iOS 8.0 and above to connect to the dash cam's hotspot.
- If VPN is enabled, disable it before connecting to the dash cam.
User Guide of Power Supply
- The dash cam uses the car cigarette lighter as its power supply. Use the original car charger and power cord for a stable power supply. The manufacturer is not liable for losses caused by using non-original accessories or alternative power sources.
- Some vehicles provide power to the cigarette lighter even when the engine is off. Prolonged operation of the dash cam in such vehicles can drain the car battery. If the parking monitor function is not enabled, manually turn off the dash cam or disconnect the charger when the vehicle is stalled. You will need to manually turn on the dash cam the next time the vehicle starts. The manufacturer is not liable for battery drain due to failure to manually turn off the dash cam.
- For vehicles that supply power to the cigarette lighter after the engine is shut off, if the parking surveillance function is enabled and the vehicle will be parked for an extended period, disconnect the car charger to prevent unnecessary battery drain.
Instructions for Use of Micro SD Card
- The Micro SD card is not included in the package; a separate purchase is required.
- The dash cam supports standard Micro SD cards. Use a 16GB~128GB Micro SD card with a data rate of Class 10 or above.
- Insert an appropriate Micro SD card before using the dash cam.
- The default file partition format of the Micro SD card may differ from the dash cam's format. Format the Micro SD card in the dash cam upon first use. This action will delete all files on the card; back up important data beforehand.
- To maintain reading/writing speed after long-term use, it is recommended to format the Micro SD card in the dash cam monthly.
- Repeated overwriting may damage the Micro SD card or reduce its writing speed, affecting video and image file saving. If this occurs, replace the Micro SD card immediately. The manufacturer is not liable for malfunctions caused by the Micro SD card.
- Use a reputable, high-quality Micro SD card. Inferior cards may exhibit discrepancies between actual and nominal reading/writing speeds and storage capacity. The manufacturer is not liable for video loss or damage caused by low-quality Micro SD cards.
- To prevent damage to recorded videos or the Micro SD card, do not insert or remove the Micro SD card while the dash cam is turned on.
