Advanced Functions.
Send a wake up notification.
To send new configuration commands from your Z-Wave controller or gateway, the WallMote Quad needs to be woken up.
Remove the WallMote Quad unit from its Back Mounting Plate. Press and hold the Action Button [Action Button] on the back of the unit for 3 seconds. You will hear a buzzer chirp ? once, and the orange LED [Orange LED] will turn ON. Release the button.
This action triggers and sends a wake-up notification command to your controller/gateway. The WallMote Quad will then remain awake for 10 minutes, indicated by the orange LED [Orange LED] fast blinking. This occurs if the device does not receive a "Wake Up No More Info" command from the primary controller.
Removing your WallMote Quad from a Z-Wave network.
Your WallMote Quad can be removed from your Z-Wave network at any time using your Z-Wave network's main controller/gateway. Consult your controller's manual for specific instructions on removing devices.
- Put your primary controller into device removal mode.
- Unlock your WallMote Quad from the Back Mount plate and bring the unit near to your primary controller.
- Press the Action Button [Action Button] on your WallMote Quad.
- Successful Removal: If your WallMote Quad is successfully removed, the LED will display a colorful gradient for a few seconds and then turn off.

Security or Non-security feature of your WallMote Quad in Z-wave network.
Including WallMote Quad as a non-secure device:
To include your WallMote Quad as a non-security device in your Z-Wave network, simply press the Action Button [Action Button] once on the WallMote Quad when your controller/gateway is in the process of adding/including it.
The green LED [Green LED] will be on for 2 seconds, followed by the orange LED [Orange LED] fast blinking for 10 minutes (if the WallMote Quad does not receive the "Wake Up No More Info" command from the primary Controller) to indicate successful inclusion.
Including WallMote Quad as a secure device:
To leverage the full functionality of the WallMote Quad, you may want to include it as a security device that uses secure/encrypted messages for communication within the Z-Wave network. This requires a security-enabled controller/gateway.
Press the WallMote Quad's Action Button [Action Button] twice within 1 second when your security controller/gateway starts the network inclusion process.
The blue LED [Blue LED] will be on for 2 seconds, followed by the orange LED [Orange LED] fast blinking for 10 minutes (if the WallMote Quad does not receive the "Wake Up No More Info" command from the primary Controller) to indicate successful inclusion.

Association table of the control buttons.
The WallMote Quad supports 9 association groups. All control buttons can activate configured scenes by sending Central Scene Notifications to the primary controller/gateway (in association group 1). To use Association Groups, ensure your gateway or software supports setting them. Refer to your gateway's manual for group association settings. This feature allows the WallMote Quad to directly communicate ON/OFF or Dimming commands to your devices without routing through your gateway.
Every control button can also send control commands to devices in other association groups. See the table below:
Association Group | Control Button | Control Commands | Description |
---|---|---|---|
1 (Lifeline) | Button 1 | Central Scene Notification | Central Scene control via Button 1 to 4 |
2 | Button 1 | Basic Set | On/Off control via Button 1 |
3 | Button 1 | Multilevel Switch Set | Dimmer control via Button 1 |
4 | Button 2 | Basic Set | On/Off control via Button 2 |
5 | Button 2 | Multilevel Switch Set | Dimmer control via Button 2 |

Your WallMote Quad's battery. ?
Your WallMote Quad has an internal rechargeable lithium battery. It can be charged when the battery is low.
The charger's output should be a Micro USB terminal with a specification of DC 5V/1A.
During charging, the orange LED [Orange LED] will be on. When the charge is complete, the orange LED [Orange LED] will turn off, and the green LED [Green LED] will remain on.
Note: When the WallMote is in low battery, the orange LED [Orange LED] will blink when you touch the control buttons. If the blue LED [Blue LED] blinks when touching the buttons, it indicates the battery is at a normal level.
Resetting your WallMote Quad.
If your primary controller becomes missing or inoperable, you may wish to factory reset your WallMote Quad. This will remove it from its network and reset all configured settings to default. Follow these steps:
- Press and hold the Action Button [Action Button] for 20 seconds.
- The LED should blink between green, purple, then red, flashing rapidly until a green LED [Green LED] becomes solid for 2 seconds, indicating a successful factory reset.
