Turn the Power/Volume switch clockwise to turn on the radio. If password protection is set in the program, the screen will display "LOCKED." The user must first enter the password for normal operation.
The dual watch operation mode can be set in the menu. Method: MENU → 17 → CHAN_A: TX channel defaults to channel A, or CHAN_B: TX channel defaults to channel B. The screen will display "DW."

CTCSS/DCS is used to eliminate unwanted noise signals during reception.
Process Flow: Press MENU → 43 → DCD ON. When the received code word is a personal DTMF identification code, decoding is successful, and you are connected to the other party for the reset time. When the reset time expires, you will need to re-decode.
You can set the online DTMF code and offline code using the software. When both online and offline codes are enabled, this radio will send the online code when PTT is pressed and send the offline code when PTT is released.
