Head SAR and body SAR were performed on this device, configured in positions according to EN62209-2:2010, and SAR with the front side up was performed with the device 25 mm from the phantom, and body SAR was performed with the device 0 mm from the phantom. Body SAR was also performed with and without an attached headset and belt clip.

  1. Use the manufacturer's original charger for charging. The Type-C charging port on the housing is only for emergency charging.
  2. To protect the environment, please recycle the battery.
  3. Do not remove the battery when using Type-C charging.
  4. Never attempt to remove the housing from the battery.

A typical LCD display shows: NS (NOAA Scan), DW (Dual Watch), M1 (Memory Channel 1), 89 (Channel Number), 435.250 (Frequency), DCSL- (DCS Code), F6 (Function Key 6), 435.250 00 (Secondary Frequency), H (High Power). Signal strength bars are also visible.

HMLTransmit output power indicator. The current transmit output power is high (H), medium (M), or low (L).
CT DCSCT is displayed when the current code is a CTCSS code. DCS is displayed when the current code is a DCS code.
🔊 (Speaker with waves)Voice prompt is activated.
NThe radio operates in narrowband mode.
VOXVOX function. When the sound pressure reaches the set value, transmission starts. This function can be set via the menu.
+This means that the transmit frequency is equal to the receive frequency plus a frequency deviation.
-This means that the transmit frequency is equal to the receive frequency minus a frequency deviation.
DTMFDTMF signal decoding is activated.

🔋 (Battery)Indication of current battery status. When the battery is almost empty, the following is displayed: This means the battery needs to be charged, and the radio regularly sends a low power alarm message.
📡 (Antenna with arrow)Main channel indicated. When you press PTT to initiate a call on the secondary channel, all operations function on the main channel.

Programmable Function Key and its Function

The function of the side key, which can be set via programming software:

Emergency Mode On/OffPress to activate the emergency alarm. It is displayed as a programming software setting.
High/Low Power SelectionAllows the user to switch between high and low output power.
MonitorAllows the user to turn the monitor function on/off. The radio ignores all received CTCSS/DCS signals and monitors the actual channel. You can listen to the monitor noise to adjust the volume.
FM RadioTurns FM radio mode on/off.
Scan On/OffAllows the user to turn the scan function on/off.
VOX On/OffAllows the user to turn the VOX function on/off.
1750 TransmitTurns on 1750 continuous transmission.
Jack LightTurns the jack light on/off.

The method is: MENU 〉18〉WX. Press MENU to enter the OFF setting: Main Channel TX. When CHAN_A or B receives a valid call, the channel automatically becomes the main channel until the call ends.

6.11-1 DTMF Call Initiation:

DTMF Receive:

Process: Press MENU 〉43〉DCD ON. If the received codeword is a personal DTMF ID code, decoding is successful and you communicate with the other party within the reset time. If the reset time is reached, you must perform decoding again.

6.11-2 PTT ID

Initiation: You can configure the DTMF online code and offline code via the programming software. When online code and offline code are activated, this radio sends the online code when PTT is pressed and the offline code when PTT is released.
