Watches with Backlight

Press and hold button L [⛭] to illuminate the watch face.

Depending on the watch model, the backlight duration is 2 to 3 seconds, or 1 second, or while button L is pressed (module 5577).

Depending on the watch model, the face illumination is by electroluminescent (EL) elements or LEDs. EL elements lose power after prolonged use.

Frequent use of the backlight reduces battery life.

Activating the backlight for an extended period or with a low battery charge may cause the watch hands to stop moving for a while.

Watches with Rotating Bezel

Rotate the bezel to align a mark with the minute hand. After some time, you can tell how much time has passed since you aligned the mark with the minute hand.
