Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the NAXA NAM-984 dual wireless microphone system. This booklet provides instructions for operating the NAM-984 dual microphone system. Please read the instructions completely before operating the unit.
System Features
Receiver
- Offers the advantages and freedom of two channels of wireless operation without cumbersome cords.
- Simply plug into your audio mixer or amplifier.
- Supports simultaneous dual microphone operation.

- Features CH 1 and CH 2 receiver LED indicators.
- Equipped with dual retractable antennas.
Receiver Panel Descriptions
Front Panel:
- 1. Power switch: Controls the power to the receiver.
- 2. Power LED indicator: Illuminates when the receiver is powered on.
- 3. LED indicator light (Green Band): Indicates the status of microphone A (typically associated with a green band on the microphone).
- 4. LED indicator light (Red Band): Indicates the status of microphone B (typically associated with a red band on the microphone).
Back Panel:
- 7. AC power cord: Connects to a 110V 50Hz AC outlet.
- 6. ¼ inch jack (Audio Output): Connects to an amplifier or karaoke system microphone input.
- 5. Antenna B: Connector for the second antenna.
- 8. Antenna A: Connector for the first antenna.
Wireless Microphone Transmitters
- Convenient use with an On/Off switch.
- Operates up to 10 hours on a single 9 Volt alkaline battery.
Microphone Components
- 1. Microphone: The primary audio input device.
- 2. LED indicator light: Shows the operational status of the microphone.
- 3. On/off switch: Powers the microphone on or off.
- 4. Battery cap: Secures the 9V battery within the microphone.
Operation
Receiver Setup
- Plug the AC power cord into a 110V 50Hz AC outlet.
- Switch the Power to the "on" position.
- Fully extend the antennas to an angle of 60 to 90 degrees for optimal signal reception.
- Connect the supplied audio cable from the receiver's “Audio Output Jack” to the microphone input of your audio mixer or amplifier.
- Before turning on audio sources, ensure that the volume on the receiver and connected equipment is set to minimum to prevent potential damage.
Wireless Microphone Transmitter Setup
- Unscrew the battery compartment cap on the microphone. Insert a 9V battery, observing the correct polarity as indicated inside the compartment. Screw the cap back on securely, ensuring it is fully closed.
- Turn on the microphones by sliding the On/Off switch to the “ON” position. The LED light on each microphone and the corresponding LED on the receiver should illuminate simultaneously, indicating they are paired and active.
The wireless microphones are color-coded with a red or green band. The receiver's LED indicators, labeled "A" (typically for the microphone with a green band) and "B" (typically for the microphone with a red band), show which microphone is currently transmitting.
