This manual provides instructions for installing and using the MS-105 Smart Dimmer Module.

Installation
Safety First
Step 1: Power Off. Turn off the circuit breaker and use an electrical tester to verify power is off. Ensure the circuit breaker is off before wiring.
Attention: ⚠️ Please disconnect the power supply before installing or removing the device to avoid irreversible damage from electric current or unpredictable problems like lamp flashing.
Step 2: Remove Old Switch. Remove the old switch and pull it away from the wall. Identify Line/Load Wire. (Note: Wire colors may vary.)
Step 3: Wiring. Connect wires according to the wiring diagram.
Step 4: Insert Module. Insert the module into the junction box.
Step 5: Connect Power & Configure. Connect the power supply and follow the switch module configuration instructions.
Note: ? Place your smartphone close to the switch module during configuration, ensuring at least 50% Wi-Fi signal.
Warnings
- Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician according to local regulations.
- Keep the device out of reach of children.
- Keep the device away from water, damp, or hot environments.
- Install away from strong signal sources (e.g., microwave ovens) that may cause signal interruption.
- Avoid obstructions like concrete walls or metallic materials, which can reduce the effective operation range.
- Do NOT attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device.
Wiring Diagrams
The module supports wiring with one switch, without a switch, or with 2-way switches.
Diagram 1: With one switch
Connect Live (L) to the module's L terminal. Connect the Load wire (LOUT) to the module's LOUT terminal. Connect Neutral (N) to the module's N terminal. The wall switch connects to the 'S' terminal and Neutral (N).
Diagram 2: Without switch
Connect Live (L) to the module's L terminal and Neutral (N) to the module's N terminal. Connect the Load wire (LOUT) to the module's LOUT terminal.
Diagram 3: With 2 Way switches
Connect Live (L) to the module's L terminal and Neutral (N) to the module's N terminal. Connect the Load wire (LOUT) to the module's LOUT terminal. The 'S' terminal is used in conjunction with the 2-way switches for controlling the light.
Module dimensions are approximately 52mm (width) x 47mm (depth) x 18mm (height). Key terminals are labeled L (Live), LOUT (Load), S (Switch), and N (Neutral).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What should I do if I can't configure the switch module?
a. Check if the device is powered on.
b. Ensure your mobile and switch module are on the same 2.4 GHz WiFi network.
c. Verify good internet conditions.
d. Make sure the password entered in the App is correct.
e. Ensure the wiring is correct.
Q2: What device can be connected to this WiFi switch module?
Most household electrical appliances, such as lamps, laundry machines, coffee makers, etc.
Q3: What happens if the WiFi goes off?
You can still control the device with your traditional switch. The module will automatically reconnect to your WiFi network once it becomes active again.
Q4: What should I do if I change the WiFi network or change the password?
You must re-connect the WiFi switch module to the new WiFi network according to the App User Manual.
Q5: How do I reset the device?
Power the device on/off 10 times until the beeper on the module sounds continuously.
Manual Override
The switch module terminal allows for manual override to switch the connected device on or off. This provides a permanent on/off function.
Notes:
- Both App and manual switch adjustments can be reset; the last adjustment is remembered.
- App control is synchronized with the manual switch.

App Download
Download the "Smart Life" App by scanning the QR code or searching "Smart Life" on the App Store or Google Play.
Account Setup
Log in or register using your mobile number or email address. Enter the verification code, set a login password, and create a family group.
Pairing and Configuration
Note: ? This smart switch module can only be used with a reset switch.
- Ensure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is enabled.
- Open the "Smart Life/Tuya" App and click "+". The prompt page will automatically appear. Click "Go to add".
- Select the device you want to add and click "+".
- Device added successfully. You can edit the device name to enter the device page by clicking "Done".
Device Features
Basic Information: Device Name, Device Location, Check Network.
Supported Third-party Control: Connect to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for voice control.
Other Functions: Share Device, Create Group, Device Information, Feedback.

- During the free warranty period, free maintenance will be provided for product breakdowns during normal use.

Includes a section for Maintenance Records (Failure Date, Cause of Issue, Fault Content, Principal).

Products marked with the WEEE symbol (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Directive 2012/19/EU) must be disposed of separately from municipal waste. Protect health and the environment by using designated collection points. Contact your installer or local authority for disposal and recycling information.
