Installation

⚠️ Warnings

  1. Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local regulations.
  2. Keep the device out of reach of children.
  3. Keep the device away from water, humidity, and heat.
  4. Install the device away from strong signal sources, such as microwave ovens, which can cause signal interruption and abnormal operation.
  5. Obstruction by concrete walls or metal materials can reduce the effective range of the device and should be avoided.
  6. DO NOT attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device.

Step 1: Power Off and Test

Turn off the circuit breaker and use an electrical tester to check the power supply. Ensure the circuit breaker is OFF before proceeding with wiring.

Step 2: Remove Old Switch

Carefully remove the existing wall switch.

Illustration of removing an old wall switch.

Step 3: Identify Wires and Verify Power Off

Remove the switch and pull it away from the wall. Identify the line/load wire (Note: wire color may differ from manual). Verify that the power is cut off.

We recommend removing the faceplate of the old switch and using an electrical tester to check all wires connected to the switch to ensure there is no voltage in the circuit. You may need to turn off multiple circuit breakers.

Diagrams show a wall switch being removed and wires being tested with a voltage tester.

3.3 Third Method: Traditional Method

Once the switch module wiring is complete, press the traditional switch to enter pairing mode.

Open the app, select "+" in the upper right corner, and choose "Switch (Wi-Fi)" to add a device.

Diagrams show app screenshots related to the third pairing method.

Connection Process

Ensure your smartphone and the Wi-Fi+RF switch module are on the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Confirm when the indicator light blinks rapidly (twice per second).

The connection will take approximately 10 to 120 seconds, depending on your network status.

Once pairing is complete, the switch will appear in the application.

Diagrams show app screenshots of connection progress and success.

You will see two devices in the application. Click on the main switch (e.g., a single-group switch) to proceed.

Click the edit icon ✏️ in the upper right corner and select "Multi-Control Association", then tap "+" in the right corner.

Select the switch you want to associate and then choose the switch button you want to use to control the same light.

Return to the previous page. You will see two items: your main switch and the one you just associated. Note: Please verify that the associated switch is enabled.

Do not associate another button in the same switch for multi-control.

Diagrams show app screenshots illustrating the multi-control association process.
