General Warnings

• Read this manual carefully before use and retain it for future reference.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
• Children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced capabilities, can use the appliance if supervised and instructed on safe use, understanding the hazards.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
• The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before cleaning or maintaining the appliance.
• UV Light Hazard: Do not expose eyes or skin of humans or animals to UV radiation; it may cause damage.
• Burn Prevention: Do not touch the UV light with hands during use or immediately after it is turned off.
• Before cleaning the UV light, ensure the appliance is powered off and avoid pressing the power button during cleaning to prevent sudden starts and damage.
• Do not touch the plug or any part of the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not vacuum water, flammable/explosive liquids (e.g., gasoline), or solutions with toxic/harmful ingredients (e.g., bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner).
• Do not vacuum drywall particles, ashes (e.g., fireplace ash), or smoking/burning materials (e.g., coal, cigarette butts, matches).
• Do not vacuum hard or sharp objects (e.g., glass, nails, screws, coins) as they may damage the product.
• Keep the appliance away from heating appliances and direct sunlight to prevent fires.
• Avoid prolonged use if suction inlets, heat dissipation vent, or hot air outlet are blocked, as the cleaner may be damaged.
• To prevent personal injury, do not touch the tapping module with hands during use.
• Use only accessories and replacement parts approved by Xiaomi.
• The appliance is solely intended for cleaning and removing dust mites from home textiles like mattresses, blankets, pillows, and sofas. Do not use it for other purposes.
• Do not leave the appliance running in the same position for a long time, as items may be damaged.
• Keep the power cord away from sharp objects that may damage it.
• Do not place the appliance on unstable surfaces (e.g., chairs, tables) to prevent damage or injury from falling.
• If the appliance emits smoke or odors, or produces powders from the heat dissipation vent, stop use, unplug immediately, and contact the after-sales service team.
• Never attempt to disassemble the appliance yourself. Contact an authorized service center for repairs.
• WARNING: This appliance contains a UV emitter. Do not stare at the light source.

How to Use

Turning On/Off

• Connect the dust mite vacuum cleaner to power and press its power button to turn it on.
• Press the power button again to turn it off.
• Turn off and unplug the appliance after each use.

Using the Appliance

• Turn on the dust mite vacuum cleaner, place it on the textile surface, and press it slightly while moving it slowly.
• The rollers will trigger the micro switch to turn on, activating the UV light and tapping modules.
• When the appliance is moved away from the textile surface, the rollers return to their original position, the micro switch turns off, and the UV light and tapping modules stop working.

Notes:

• The micro switch is located inside the appliance and is not visible.
• Hot air will exit from the heat dissipation vent during use.
• A slight odor from the cooling vent during first-time use is normal and will dissipate over time.
• When the appliance is powered on but not in contact with the textile, it is normal for the UV light and tapping module to stop operating.

Care & Maintenance

Daily Cleaning of the Dust Compartment Assembly

1. Press and hold the dust compartment release button, and simultaneously pull out the dust compartment assembly.
2. Lift the cyclone separator assembly over a trash bin, empty the dust compartment, and clean the surface of the cyclone separator assembly.
3. After cleaning, reinstall the cyclone separator assembly back into the dust compartment.
4. Align the triangular notch of the dust compartment assembly with the triangular protrusion on the dust mite vacuum cleaner, then push the dust compartment assembly into the vacuum cleaner. It is properly installed when you hear a "click" sound.

Washing the Dust Compartment Assembly

If suction decreases, clean the dust compartment assembly promptly to regain mite removal performance and prevent blockage of the air duct that may cause the appliance to shut down.

1. Remove the dust compartment assembly and take out the cyclone separator assembly.
2. Hold the filter bracket and rotate the cyclone separator counterclockwise to remove it.
3. Rotate the filter counterclockwise to remove it.
4. Clean the surfaces of the dust compartment, cyclone separator, filter, and filter bracket. Rinse them with clean tap water and air-dry them thoroughly.
5. After cleaning and fully drying, reinstall the filter and cyclone separator into the filter bracket clockwise in order. Then place the cyclone separator assembly into the dust compartment and press it firmly.
6. Reinstall the dust compartment assembly back into the dust mite vacuum cleaner.

Notes:

• It is recommended to wash and clean the filter every 5 to 6 uses, or adjust frequency as needed.
• Replace the filter every 2-3 months for optimal performance.
• Rinse the filter and air inlet filter cotton with clean water. Do not rub, scrub, or wash with hands or sharp objects (like brushes) to prevent damage. Air-dry components thoroughly (away from direct sunlight) before reinstallation.

Cleaning the Suction Inlets

• Remove the dust compartment assembly and flip the vacuum cleaner.
• Clean dust from the bottom suction inlet and the one on the dust compartment using a dry cloth or tissue.

Notes:

• It is normal for dust and particles to adhere to the suction inlets; clean them promptly.
• The air inlet filter cotton acts as a filter and should not be discarded. If it becomes dirty, remove and rinse it with clean tap water. Ensure it is thoroughly air-dried (away from direct sunlight) before reinstallation.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions

• Issue: The dust mite vacuum cleaner does not start.
  • Possible Causes: Power cord not plugged properly; outlet has no power; appliance not turned on; circuit error.
  • Solutions: Plug in the power cord properly; check the power outlet; press the power button; contact the after-sales service team.
• Issue: The main motor does not start.
  • Possible Causes: Temperature protection for the main motor is active; the main motor is damaged.
  • Solutions: Turn off and unplug the appliance. Restart after the main motor temperature returns to normal. Contact the after-sales service team if the motor is damaged.
• Issue: Suction decreases.
  • Possible Causes: Dust compartment is full; suction inlets are blocked by foreign objects; the filter is blocked or not fully dried after washing.
  • Solutions: Clean the dust compartment; clean the suction inlets; clean and thoroughly air-dry the filter.
