Lifetime Limited Warranty
The Hunter Fan Company provides the following limited warranty to the user or consumer purchaser of this Hunter ceiling fan:
If any part of your Hunter ceiling fan motor fails during your lifetime due to a defect in material or workmanship, Hunter will provide a replacement part free of charge. If a replacement part cannot be provided for such a motor, Hunter will refund the actual purchase price of the fan. If the motor fails within one year of the date of sale due to a defect in material or workmanship, labor to repair the defect will be provided free of charge at Hunter's service center or Service Department in Memphis, Tennessee. Labor costs after this one-year period are the responsibility of the owner. This limited warranty applies only to the motor and not to electronic controls (e.g., remote controls, receivers, transmitters), which are covered by a separate one-year limited warranty.
If any part of your Hunter Ceiling Fan, excluding the motor, glass globes, or light bulbs, fails within one year of the date of purchase due to a defect in material or workmanship, Hunter will repair or replace the defective part free of charge for parts and labor performed at its service center in Memphis, Tennessee.
Important Note: If the user or consumer purchaser ceases to own the fan, this warranty and any implied warranties become void. No warranty, expressed or implied, is made for glass globes, light bulbs, or the finish on any metal portion of the fan.
This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties. The duration of any implied warranty, including but not limited to any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, for any Hunter fan motor or other part, is expressly limited to the period of the express warranty set forth above.
This warranty is void if the Hunter Fan is not purchased and used in the USA. It excludes defects, malfunctions, or failures caused by unauthorized repairs, unauthorized parts or accessories, mishandling, improper installation, modifications, damage while in possession, or unreasonable use, including failure to provide necessary maintenance.
To obtain servicing: Contact the Hunter authorized service center or the Hunter Fan Company Service Department at 7130 Goodlett Farms Parkway, Suite 400, Memphis, Tennessee 38016. Please contact Hunter before shipping your fan. If authorized to ship, the owner is responsible for all insurance, freight, or transportation charges to the service center. Hunter will return the fan freight prepaid. The fan must be properly packed to avoid transit damage, for which Hunter is not responsible. Proof of purchase (sales receipt or other document) is required for warranty service.
Hunter Fan Company shall not be liable for consequential or incidental damages. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranty duration or exclusion/limitation of incidental/consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you. This warranty grants specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.
