Connection Diagram

The diagram illustrates the system architecture. It shows connectivity via 4G/5G/WiFi to cloud services like Tuya Cloud and voice assistants such as Alexa/Google, all routed through a Router. The PLC Lighting Master receives DC24V input and controls subordinate PLC lights. The diagram also indicates a maximum remote control distance of 30m for 2.4G RF remotes.

Compatible 2.4G RF Remotes

The PLCW1 is compatible with the following 2.4G RF remotes (sold separately):

• B8, B0, B3/B3-B/T3, B4/B4-B/T4, S2-B/S2-W, S2W+, S1W+, S2-G
• FUT100, FUT089, FUT089-B, C5, FUT092, FUT092-B, FUT088, FUT096, FUT096-B, C8

Linking and Unlinking Remotes

Linking a Remote

1. Turn off the light for 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
2. Within 3 seconds, press the [Link button] 3 times.
3. Successful pairing is indicated by the light flashing slowly 3 times.

If pairing fails (indicator light does not flash), repeat the steps. Note: Re-linking is not possible if the remote has already been paired.

Unlinking a Remote

1. Turn off the light for 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
2. Within 3 seconds, press the [Link button] 5 times.
3. Successful unlinking is indicated by the light flashing quickly 10 times.

If unlinking fails (indicator light does not flash quickly), repeat the steps. Note: If lights are not yet paired, unlinking is not necessary.

Automatic Transmission & Synchronization

Automatic Signal Transmission

A Master unit can forward the remote signal to another Master unit within 30 meters. If a Master unit is within 30m, the remote control range becomes unlimited.

Automatic Dynamic Mode Synchronization

Multiple lights can synchronize if they are in the same dynamic mode and paired with the same remote control (distance between lights should be within 30 meters).

Dynamic Mode Selection

Dynamic Mode Selection Table 1 (Default, for remote control):

To select Dynamic Mode 1: While the light is in static mode, quickly press the [S+ button] five times until the blue indicator light flashes slowly three times. The static mode is now activated.

Dynamic Mode Selection Table 2 (Manual selection required):

To select Dynamic Mode 2: While the light is in static mode, quickly press the [S- button] five times until the yellow indicator light flashes slowly three times. The static mode is now activated.

Note: Models C5, FUT096, FUT096-B, S2-B, S2-W, S2W+, S2B+ do not support mode switching.

'Do Not Disturb' Mode

The 'Do Not Disturb' mode activates and deactivates (active by default). This mode is useful in areas with frequent power outages to save energy.

2.4G RF Remote Control Activation/Deactivation

To activate 'Do Not Disturb':

Press the [OFF button] three times within 3 seconds, then press the [ON button] three times. Successful activation is confirmed by the LED flashing quickly four times.

Note when 'Do Not Disturb' is active:

• If the light is turned OFF (e.g., via app or remote), it will turn OFF. To turn it back ON, it requires two power cycles (off/on) or using the app/remote to activate it.
• If the light is turned ON, it will remain ON after one power cycle (off/on).

To deactivate 'Do Not Disturb':

Press the [ON button] three times within 3 seconds, then press the [OFF button] three times. Successful deactivation is confirmed by the LED flashing slowly four times.

Note after deactivation: The light will always be in the 'ON' state after deactivating 'Do Not Disturb' and cycling power.

App Control for 'Do Not Disturb' Mode

The 'Do Not Disturb' mode can also be controlled via the app. Navigate to the device settings, select 'More', then 'Power-on behavior', and toggle 'Do Not Disturb' on or off.

Smartphone App Control Instructions

Network Configuration (Does not support 5G routers)

1. Download and install the [Tuya Smart] app. Search for 'Tuya Smart' on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or scan the provided QR code for download and installation.
2. Open the app and tap 'Register' to create an account for first-time use. Log in directly if you already have an account.
3. Connect the controller to the power supply. Ensure the indicator light is flashing quickly (2 flashes per second). If not, long-press the [SET button] until it flashes quickly, or cycle the power 6 times.
4. Connect your phone to a 2.4GHz WiFi network.
5. Open the app's home page and tap the '+' icon in the top right corner.
6. Select 'Lighting' from the left-side menu, then choose 'Light Source (BLE+Wi-Fi)'.
7. Follow the in-app instructions to complete the configuration.

Voice Control Instructions

Alexa Voice Control

Add the device to the [Tuya Smart] app first. Then follow these steps:

1. Open the Alexa app.
2. Tap 'More' in the bottom right corner.
3. Tap 'Skills & Games'.
4. Tap the search icon (magnifying glass) in the top right corner.
5. Enter 'Smart life' and search.
6. Select 'Smart Life', follow the instructions to complete configuration and enable voice control.

Google Home Voice Control

Add the device to the [Tuya Smart] app first. Then follow these steps:

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Tap the '+' icon in the top left corner.
3. Tap 'Set up device'.
4. Tap 'Works with Google'.
5. Tap the search icon (magnifying glass) in the top right corner.
6. Enter 'Smart life' and search.
7. Select 'Smart Life', follow the instructions to complete configuration and enable voice control.

Safety Precautions

• Ensure the device is powered off during installation for safety.
• Verify that the input voltage matches the device's voltage requirement.
• Do not disassemble the device; unauthorized disassembly may cause damage.
• Avoid using the device near large metal surfaces or areas with strong electromagnetic interference, as this can significantly reduce the control range.
• Do not use the device for extended periods in humid or high-temperature environments.
