Connection Diagrams
Single Color Light Mode Wiring
Connect the DC 12V-24V power supply to the INPUT terminals (V+, V-). Connect the single color LED strip to the OUTPUT terminals (V+, W).
CCT Light Mode Wiring
Connect the DC 12V-24V power supply to the INPUT terminals (V+, V-). Connect the CCT LED strip to the OUTPUT terminals (V+, CW, WW).
Control Options
The ML-MR2 controller can be operated via:
- Remote Control: Direct RF control.
- Smartphone App: Requires a 2.4GHz gateway (e.g., WL-Box2) to connect to your Wi-Fi network. This enables control via the "Tuya Smart" app.
- Voice Assistants: Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Yandex Alice when used with a 2.4GHz gateway.
The control diagram illustrates the flow from APP/Voice Assistants to the Router, then to the 2.4GHz Gateway (WL-Box2), which communicates wirelessly with the ML-R2 controller.
Pairing and Unpairing
Pairing Procedure
The controller must be paired with a remote control before use.
- Turn off power to the light for 10 seconds, then reconnect it.
- Within 3 seconds of reconnecting power, press the "I" button on your chosen zone of the remote control 3 times.
- Successful pairing is indicated by the light flashing 3 times briefly.
If the light does not flash 3 times briefly, pairing failed. Please repeat the procedure.
Unpairing Procedure
Method 1:
- Turn off power to the light for 10 seconds, then reconnect it.
- Within 3 seconds of reconnecting power, press the "I" button on your chosen zone of the remote control 5 times.
- Successful unpairing is indicated by the light flashing 10 times briefly.
If the light does not flash 10 times briefly, unpairing failed. Please repeat the procedure.
Method 2:
Press and hold the "SET" button on the controller for 5 seconds. Unpairing is indicated by the light flashing 10 times briefly.
Advanced Features
Automatic Signal Transmission
This feature allows for unlimited control distance. When a remote control signal is received by one controller, it can relay the signal to another controller within a 30m range.
Visual Description: An icon shows a remote signal going to "Jednotka řízení" (Control Unit), then an arrow indicating "Dosah až 30 m" (Range up to 30 m), and then to another "Jednotka řízení".
DND (Do Not Disturb) Mode ON/OFF
Default factory setting is ON.
To Turn ON DND Mode:
Within 3 seconds, press "OFF" 3 times and then "ON" 3 times. The DND mode activation is indicated by 4 quick flashes of the light.
In DND mode, the light will return to its previous state after a power outage and reconnection.
To Turn OFF DND Mode:
Within 3 seconds, press "ON" 3 times and then "OFF" 3 times. DND mode deactivation is indicated by 4 short flashes of the light.
The light will turn on automatically after a power outage and reconnection.
PWM High Frequency / Low Frequency Switching
Switching to High Frequency:
Within 3 seconds, press the "OFF" button once and the "ON" button 5 times. Successful activation is confirmed by the LED indicator flashing twice quickly.
Switching to Low Frequency:
Within 3 seconds, press the "ON" button once and the "OFF" button 5 times. Successful activation is confirmed by the LED indicator flashing twice quickly.
Important Notes
- Turn off power before installing the device.
- Verify that the input voltage matches the device's input voltage requirements.
- Avoid using the remote control near metal objects or strongly magnetized areas, as this can affect the signal range.
