Remote Control

You can control TV operations with your Smart Remote (Bluetooth). The Smart Remote (Bluetooth) may not be supported depending on the model or geographical area.

Remote Buttons

• [Power Button]: Press to turn the TV on or off.
• [Voice Assistant Button]: Runs Voice Assistant. Press and hold the button, say a command, and then release the button to run Voice Assistant.
• [Colour/Number Button]: Each time you press this button, a virtual numeric pad or option pad with Colour buttons is displayed alternately.
• [Settings Gear]: Press to display the Settings menu.
• [Back Arrow]: Press to return to the previous menu. When pressed for 1 second or more, the running function is terminated. When pressed while you are watching a programme, the previous channel appears.
• [Up Arrow] / [Down Arrow] / [Left Arrow] / [Right Arrow]: Press the up, down, left, or right button to scroll the menu.
• [Home Button]: Press to switch to the Home Screen.
• [Play/Pause Button]: When pressed, the playback controls appear. Using these controls, you can control the media content that is playing.
• [Channel Up/Down Button]: Move the button up or down to change the channel. To see the Guide screen, press the button. When pressed for 1 second or more, the Channel List screen appears. Press and hold the button up or down to quickly change the channel.
• [Volume Control]: Move the button up or down to adjust the volume. To mute the sound, press the button. When pressed for 2 seconds or more, the Accessibility Shortcuts appear.
• [App Button]: Launch the app indicated by the button.

How to Register the Remote Control

To use the Remote, first pair it with your TV.

1. Put batteries into the Remote and turn the TV on.
2. Point the Remote at your TV and then press and hold the [Power Button] and [Back Arrow] buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds or more.

Note: Ensure batteries are correctly inserted. A PM4 x 22mm screw may be relevant for certain mounting or accessory installations, but not directly for remote pairing.

Initial Setup

The system settings will appear when you turn the TV on for the first time. Please set according to the on-screen guide. Press the [OK Button] to start the setup.

1. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select your language, then press [OK Button] to confirm and proceed to the next step.
2. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to set up and choose to connect your devices to the screen, then start setup.
3. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select the signal setup page. Select the connected aerial that you want to use to get channels, and select each item and choose the correct setting. Then select 'Next' to search for channels.
4. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'Network' and press [OK Button] to turn to the next page.
5. Select "OK" to agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice, and then choose to enable specific additional services by individually selecting them.
6. Choose to sign in to your Kogan account or skip to the next step.
7. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select the TV source and scan for channels.
8. Check the settings below to make sure everything is how you want it, then enter the next step.
9. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select favourite services below, then simply sign up or sign in using your mobile device or PC.

Privacy Choices

Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select Privacy Choices, then press [OK Button] to enter. You can easily manage your personal information and read our data policies in Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy. You can also find out how Kogan uses your data to power services on your device and protect your privacy in the Privacy Centre.

Search

Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select Search, then press [OK Button] to enter. You can search for channels, programs, movie titles, and apps from Smart Hub. (Note: This is only available when connected to the Internet.)

Media

Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select Media, then press [OK Button] to enter. You can also press the [Navigation Arrows] to select Connected Devices on Source mode on the home page. Play media content stored on your TV, USB devices, mobile devices, cameras, PCs, etc.

Sort & Filter

Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'Filter By'. It can filter the media content by type of media. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'Sort By'. It can sort the content list. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'Options'. It can play the selected media content in the media content list. When you select 'Refresh', the content list is reloaded.

Source

Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select Connected Devices, then press [OK Button] or [Enter Button] to enter. You can select an external device connected to the TV. (Optional: TV/HDMI1/HDMI2/HDMI3/AV/Connection Guide)

Apps

Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select Apps, then press [OK Button] to enter. You can enjoy a wide range of content including news, sports, weather, and games by installing the corresponding apps on your TV. (Note: This is only available when connected to the Internet.)

Settings Menu

Press the [Settings Gear] button and select 'All Settings' to enter the TV Settings. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to highlight the desired menu icon, and press [OK Button] to select.

Picture Settings

Press the [Settings Gear] button and select 'All Settings' to enter the main menu. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'Picture'. Press [OK Button] to enter the sub-menu. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'Picture Mode', 'Picture Size Settings', or 'Expert Settings'. Press the [Settings Gear] or [Back Arrow] button to quit.

Sound Settings

Press the [Settings Gear] button and select 'All Settings' to enter the main menu. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'Sound'. Press [OK Button] to enter the sub-menu. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'Sound Output', 'Sound Mode', or 'Expert Settings'. Press the [Settings Gear] or [Back Arrow] button to quit.

Connection Settings

Press the [Settings Gear] button and select 'All Settings' to enter the main menu. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'Connection'. Press [OK Button] to enter the sub-menu. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'Device Name', 'Network', 'Bluetooth Device List', or 'External Device Manager'. Press the [Settings Gear] or [Back Arrow] button to quit.

Broadcasting Settings

Press the [Settings Gear] button and select 'All Settings' to enter the main menu. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'Broadcasting'. Press [OK Button] to enter the sub-menu. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'Auto Tuning Settings', 'Dual Sound', or 'Expert Settings'. Press the [Settings Gear] or [Back Arrow] button to quit.

General & Privacy Settings

Press the [Settings Gear] button and select 'All Settings' to enter the main menu. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'General & Privacy'. Press [OK Button] to enter the sub-menu. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'Accessibility', 'Terms & Privacy', 'System Manager', 'Parental Settings', 'Power and Energy Saving', 'Start Screen Options', or 'Reset'.

Support

Press the [Settings Gear] button and select 'All Settings' to enter the main menu. Press the [Navigation Arrows] to select 'Support'. Press [OK Button] to enter the sub-menu.
