- Avoid sharp/abrupt turns at high speeds to prevent tipping.
- Do not operate under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Riding Instructions
Ensure you are properly situated on the unit before turning it on and engaging the throttle to prevent injury or damage.
Important Notes
- Speed: Mobility scooters can travel at higher speeds. Exercise caution, especially in mixed traffic.
- Obey the Law: Follow all traffic laws, including stop signs and turn signals.
- Stay Sober: Never ride while intoxicated. Full attention is required.
- Sidewalk Use: Ride on the sidewalk unless no sidewalk is present. Be mindful of pedestrians and give ample notice when passing.

Inspecting Your Mobility Scooter
Always inspect your scooter before riding to ensure safety features are operational. Routine inspections can prevent accidents. Pay attention to any changes in feel or sound.
Holding the Handlebars
Place fingers over brake levers for easy activation. Wrap hands and thumbs around handlebars for control.
Turning On and Off
Press and hold the power button on the display panel to turn the unit on or off.
Accelerating and Decelerating
The throttle, typically on the right handlebar, is used to accelerate forward. Release the throttle to decelerate.
Warning: Do not activate the accelerator until seated and ready to move. The scooter can escape control, causing injury or damage.
Stopping
Pull the brake levers on the handlebars (left side) to activate the rear brakes.
Safety Tips for Braking
- Wet weather can reduce brake efficiency due to decreased friction. Slow down and allow more stopping distance.
- Have brakes and brake pads checked regularly as they wear down over time.
Signalling and Lights
The Horn
Use the horn to warn pedestrians of your approach.
Lights
Headlights improve visibility and safety in dark conditions. Using lights may reduce travel distance by approximately 5%.
Riding in Wet Weather
The scooter is designed for wet conditions, but high speeds can cause slipping. Reduce speed in wet weather and allow for longer braking distances.
The Motor and Water
Do not immerse the scooter in water. Ensure water levels do not exceed the motor to prevent short-circuits and damage to electrical systems.
Riding in Cold Weather
The scooter operates year-round, but performance may be reduced in very cold conditions (below 10°C). Batteries, both Lithium-Ion and Lead-Acid, perform less effectively in cold temperatures. Cold weather riding may also necessitate earlier battery replacement.
Maximum Load
Do not exceed the maximum load capacity specified in the technical specifications. Exceeding the limit can reduce performance, damage components, and potentially burn out the motor.
Long-Term Storage
If storing for an extended period, disconnect the circuit breaker to prevent accidental activation. Refer to the 'The Battery' section for storage maintenance.
The Battery
Treat the scooter's electrical systems with respect. The dashboard features a battery charge indicator.
Battery Power and Distance
The battery provides a range of over 20 km per charge. Factors affecting range include rider weight, wind resistance, driving habits, terrain (hills), and tire pressure.
Saving Power
- Coasting: Utilize momentum downhill or on flat surfaces without using the motor.
- Stopping and Starting: Minimize stop-and-go movements as starting from a full stop consumes more power.
- Weight: Reduce unnecessary weight on the scooter.
- Air Pressure: Ensure tires are properly inflated to reduce drag and increase efficiency.
- Lights: Turn off lights when safe to conserve power.
Charging Your Mobility Scooter
You will need the provided charger and a 110V household electrical outlet.
Charger Warning: Only use the supplied charger. Using incompatible chargers can damage the battery and electrical systems.
- Turn off the mobility scooter and remove the key.
- Plug the charger's female end into the scooter's charging port.
- Plug the charger's male end into a 110V wall socket or compatible generator.
- Charge for 4-8 hours.
- Disconnect the charger when the LED light turns green, indicating a full charge.
If the LED light remains red for over 14 hours or the battery becomes very hot, stop charging and contact your Daymak dealer.
Understanding Your Voltage
Voltage indicates the unit's power. As voltage drops, performance decreases. The unit has a Low Voltage Threshold to protect the battery.
Low Voltage Threshold
The motor may cut off if the voltage drops below this threshold. Check the voltage threshold via the Bluetooth app (if applicable) or consult the provided voltage chart.

Charging the Mobilityinabox
The Mobilityinabox features a lithium-ion battery that can be charged internally or externally.
- 1) Charge Port: Connect the charger here. The charger glows red while charging and green when fully charged. Unplug promptly after charging.
- 2) Battery Lock: The battery can be locked/unlocked from the frame by turning the lock clockwise/counterclockwise.
Warning: Do not leave the scooter charging for extended periods after it is fully charged. Unplug as soon as possible.
Battery Care
Follow these suggestions for optimal battery performance:
- Charge immediately after riding.
- Do not allow the battery to fully discharge before storage.
- Charge the battery occasionally (every 21 days) during storage.
- Store the battery on a flat, cool, dry surface, avoiding temperatures below 10°C for extended periods.
Warning: Do not place Lead-Acid batteries on concrete, as it drains their power.
Cold Weather and Your Battery
Battery performance is reduced below 10°C. Cold weather riding may require earlier battery replacement.
Replacement and Disposal
Lead-acid batteries typically last around 300 charges; lithium-ion batteries up to 1000 charges. Contact your Daymak dealer for replacements and dispose of old batteries at a municipal recycling facility.
Operation
The Mobilityinabox features a display on the right handlebar:
- 1) Horn: Press to honk.
- 2) Mode: Select speed mode.
- 3) Mode Lights: Indicate selected speed (Low, Medium, High). No lights mean the unit will not move.
- 4) Battery Meter: Displays remaining power.
- 5) Light: Press to turn on the headlight.
- 6) Light Signal: Indicates if the light is on or off.
- 7) ON/OFF: Press and hold to turn the unit on or off.
- 8) Brakes: Squeeze lever to engage brakes.
Right Handlebar Controls
- 1) Throttle: Rotate towards you to accelerate.
- 2) D/R: Select Forward (D) or Reverse (R).
Brakes
The Mobilityinabox has rear brakes activated by squeezing the handlebar lever. To engage the brake lock, pull the brake lever and lock simultaneously until it holds. Pull tighter to release.
Handlebar Adjustment
The handlebars are adjustable for height. Open the quick-release latch, adjust the height, and secure.
Folding Your Unit
Follow these steps to fold the Mobilityinabox:
- Release the handlebar quick-release latch.
- Fold the handlebar down.
- Fold the back part of the seat down.
- Lift the lever on the back of the seat while holding the seat, and lower it down.
Reverse this procedure to unfold the unit.
Charger Indicator
The charger has an LED light that is red when charging and green when fully charged. Unplug the charger as soon as charging is complete.
Luggage Rack and Carrying Rail
Luggage Rack
Pull the knob on the back of the luggage rack outwards to extend it for additional carrying space.
Carrying Rail
To use the carrying rail for wheeling the unit like a stroller, pull the pin on the underside of the unit that locks it into place and lift the bar upwards until it locks.
Technical Data
Motor and Wheel Assembly
The scooter features a 250W magnetic DC brushless motor in the rear wheel hub, known for its low-end torque and high efficiency. It includes a speed reduction gear and a freewheel clutch.
The Controller
Daymak Drive technology manages the scooter's speed and functions, enabling faster acceleration, hill climbing, and energy saving. The electronic controller, located under the seat, offers stepless speed adjustment, motor cutoff upon braking, low voltage protection, and overcurrent fuses. It can be regulated via a Bluetooth app.
Brakes
The scooter is equipped with rear drum brakes, providing good friction grip when activated. These should be used before any front brakes (if applicable).
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
Your unit's VIN is engraved on the frame behind the headlight. Record this number for security and warranty registration on Daymak.com.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Many components are not user-serviceable. Altering electrical or mechanical parts voids the warranty.
Tire Pressure
Maintain proper tire pressure as indicated on the tire sidewall. Cold weather reduces pressure; warm weather increases it. Adjust pressure using an air pump, ensuring not to exceed the recommended level.
Replacing Flat Tires
Replacing flat tire tubes is complex, especially for the rear wheel connected to the motor. Contact your Daymak dealer for assistance or professional tube replacement.
The Motor
Do not service the motor yourself. Bring the scooter to a Daymak dealer for motor service. Recommended maintenance is approximately every 100 running hours.
Bringing Your Scooter for Service
If the scooter is not performing correctly, disconnect the circuit breaker (if applicable) and take it to your local Daymak dealer. Do not store the scooter without disconnecting the circuit breaker.

Cleaning
Clean your mobility scooter weekly to ensure longevity and save on repair costs. Avoid high-pressure water sprays and keep water away from the battery. Gently clean all parts, ensuring electrical components are dry.
Lubricating
Lubricate levers and cables for smoother, quieter operation. Apply lubricant, let it sit, wipe off excess, and clean with degreaser if needed.
Weather Protection
Do not leave the scooter exposed to rain or snow. Store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not open casings, as this can make them susceptible to water damage.
Remove batteries if not in use and charge them monthly.
Maintenance Schedule
Maintenance frequency depends on usage and conditions. Perform quick checks before and after each ride.
