Setup and Operation
General Setup
- Unpack the Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro system and power adapter.
- Connect the adapter to the "24V DC-in" port on the back of the unit, then plug into a wall outlet.
- Press the power button on top of the unit; the white indicator light will turn on.
- Remove the battery tab from the remote control before use.
Volume Control (on the unit)
Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the unit's top panel to increase or decrease volume.
Battery Installation
- Rotate the battery compartment cover on the Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro system to open; remove the cover.
- Install eight (8) new C-type batteries as shown.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
Note: The system does not consume battery power when using AC power. Batteries will not be recharged while in the unit.
Listening from iPhone/iPod
- Press the power button on the Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro system to turn it on.
- Insert your iPhone/iPod into the dock.
- Select music playback using the iPhone/iPod's control panel or the remote control. Use the '+' and '-' buttons on top of the system to adjust volume.
Listening from Auxiliary Devices
The Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro system includes a 3.5mm mini-jack for connecting audio players and headphone jacks.
- Connect an auxiliary device to the Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro speaker's audio input jack using an audio cable (not included).
- Press the "Power" button on top of the Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro speaker; the white indicator light will show the unit is on.
- Control music playback using the auxiliary device.
- Adjust volume using the '+' and '-' buttons on the top of the Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro system.
Remote Control Functions
Remote Description: The remote control features buttons for Input selection, Menu navigation (Up, Down, Menu), Play/Pause, Mute, Previous Track, Next Track, and Volume Up/Down.
USB Sync and Charge
The Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro system features USB sync and charge. This allows syncing and charging your iPhone/iPod when docked. The system charges your iPhone/iPod even when running on battery power.
- Connect the Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro's USB port to your computer's USB cable (not included).
- Insert your iPhone/iPod into the Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro system's dock.
- iTunes will sync with your iPhone/iPod.
Viewing Videos or Photos from iPhone/iPod
The Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro system features a video output port. This allows viewing videos or browsing photos from compatible iPhones or iPods.
- Connect the Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro's video output port to a TV or video display using a video cable (not included).
- Insert your iPhone/iPod into the Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro system's dock.
- Play your iPhone or iPod's video or photo content.
