Getting Started

Power and Charging

Connect the speaker to a power source using the provided power cord. Note that the power cord quantity and plug type may vary by region.

Status Indicators

? Low battery

Rebooting the Speaker

To reboot the speaker, press and hold the power button for more than 10 seconds.

Connecting via Bluetooth

The Onyx Studio 7 supports Bluetooth connectivity for wireless audio streaming. The effective range is up to 10 meters (33 feet).

Pairing Your Device

Enable Bluetooth on your device.
Search for 'HK Onyx Studio 7' and connect.
The status will indicate 'Bluetooth connected'.

A maximum of 2 devices can be connected simultaneously.

Wireless Dual Sound

Pair two Onyx Studio 7 speakers together for a more immersive audio experience using the Wireless Dual Sound feature.

Pairing Mode

To enter Wireless Dual Sound pairing mode, press and hold the Bluetooth button for over 5 seconds. Additional speakers are sold separately.

Controlling Playback

Control playback on the primary speaker. Supports Left & Right stereo pairing.

Music Playback Controls

Use the controls on the speaker to manage your music:

Press once: ▶️ Play/Pause music.
Press twice: ⏭️ Skip to the next track.

Music playback pauses on the current connected device when you start music playback on a second connected device.

Audio Cable Connection

You can also play music through an audio cable (AUX input). To use the audio cable, disconnect Bluetooth.
